Chapter 15 Saving Maya 1

Mel stepped out of her apartment, taking in a deep breath of the cool morning air. She had her coffee in hand and was ready to start the day. She walked down the sidewalk, heading towards the road. As she walked by, she saw some other people heading to work, some in suits and others in a more casual attire.

As the car made its way through the city, she continued to sip on her coffee, enjoying the smooth taste and the warmth it provided on the chilly morning.

she pulled out her phone to check her emails and catch up on any messages from her colleagues. She scrolled through a few emails and then began looking through her schedules for the day, she saw that she had to meet with the design team to discuss new shoe designs this morning as well as a presentation to the marketing team about the upcoming shoe collection. Mel was prepared for the day as she knew it would be busy.

When She finally arrived at work, she headed straight to her office.
