Two days later… The supposed murder of Anita Stallion was still being investigated and Amelia was still being thrashed by anti-fans on social media as they accused her of being responsible for her death. People who seemingly had nothing to do kept scolding her and posting malicious stuff on her page. Some even wished for her to die. Amelia wondered if they had already sent hate mail that was full of threats to her old address. The love for drama by some people was sickening. Everyone would pretend to love you but once you trend for the wrong reasons, they turn their backs on you and say all sorts of hateful things. Their comments were not friendly at all. One would wonder if they ever sat down to think about the effect of their harsh words on someone. If words could kill, Amelia would have succumbed long ago. But her being her, she did not let such matters deter her. In fact, she even returned to filming as if nothing had happened. She did not commit any crime so why would she
Amelia's heart banged vigorously in her chest as the sound of Cheryl's footsteps got closer. She had held her breath as if Cheryl could hear her breathing. 'Perhaps I should just make a run for it.' She thought in her mind but before she could do that and alert the enemy, Cheryl's phone rang and she answered. "Hello? I'm coming." Cheryl turned and walked out of the stairway making Amelia breathe out a sigh of relief. She was grateful to the person who called Cheryl. What she had heard could be used as evidence so naturally Cheryl would react if she found out that Amelia had heard the conversation. 'I need to tell Ethan,' she mumbled to herself as she proceeded to head back to the set. Hours later, Amelia did not linger around to chat and went home with her bodyguard Albert. The moment she entered through the front door, a sweet aroma wafted from the kitchen. Someone was cooking something delicious. The scent was mouth watering and it made Amelia's stomach rumble loudly.
The next day at the CT group. Ethan took a swig of his whiskey as he sat in his swivel chair in his office. He was staring at nothing in particular, his mind in deep thought. He couldn't bring himself to work because of the fight he had with Amelia the previous night. Her anger was justified, he shouldn't have raised his voice at her but she was being so stubborn when he just wanted to protect her. He recalled how she ignored him this morning when he tried to make amends. ~Flashback~ 6:00 am at the mansion. Ethan had woken up as usual and went to greet Amelia. They were still sleeping in different rooms even though things had escalated between them. He was now pushing for her to move into the master bedroom. Amelia was still holding back but he knew it was just a matter of time before he completely claimed her, body and soul. He had claimed her body but was yet to conquer her heart that she had guarded so well it was hard for him to penetrate. But he was patient. One
Amelia woke up feeling low, her chest felt heavy like it had been hit by a truck. She presumed it was because of the small fight she had with Ethan. It made her feel uncomfortable. For some reason, she felt guilty that she got upset with him. He was just trying to protect her. But that didn't mean it was ok for him to raise his voice at her. He had to know that it's not the course of action he should take when angry. For Amelia, yelling at her didn't solve anything. In fact, it just kick-started her rebellious behavior. In the end, no one wanted to put their foot down due to pride but she still felt guilty about the whole thing. After a quick shower in the morning, she was putting on her white striped jumpsuit when Ethan opened the door without knocking. Rolling her eyes, Amelia continued to zip her jumpsuit and thought, 'doesn't he know how to knock? What if I was shaving?' "Good morning angel…" she heard him say. From the mirror she could see how he donned a checkered gray s
Ethan groaned as he opened his eyes ever so slightly. He raised his right hand to massage his temples in hopes of easing the pounding of his head. He had drank too much because he felt guilty but he was now regretting since he was now supporting a bad hangover. His head felt like it was being banged against the wall from his skull. He was afraid it would split in half at that pace. "Argh!" He groaned, trying to lift himself from the bed. 'I'm never drinking again.' He hissed in his mind. Trying to raise his left hand to massage the other side of his temple, he froze when he realized that his fingers were laced with small soft ones. His heart raced when he saw Amelia sleeping on the edge of the bed. It turned out they had slept in the same bed while holding hands. A lightbulb went off in Ethan's head and he jerked up from the bed. They had slept in the same bed! And like a fool, he didn't recall any of it. He couldn't believe he was granted an opportunity to hold Amelia in
Amelia was enjoying her day off at home when she received a call from Glenda. "Hey babes," she answered lazily. She was sunbathing on a lounger on the balcony just outside the large floor-ceiling doors in her bedroom. Clad in nothing but a black string bikini, she had been reading a book while sipping on some fresh juice. This was life.. just relaxing and enjoying the fresh air that wafted from the nearby trees. "Hey Amy.. what are you doing?" Glenda's voice came through the speaker. "Nothing… I ain't doing shit," she chuckled. "Well… you better get your ass to the pearl hotel, I just saw your man with that whore, Anna." "What man?" Amelia furrowed her brows. It's been ten years since she broke up with that cheating jerk, Luciano. "Not Luciano you fool….Ethan.. isn't he your man?" Amelia's heart skipped a beat, "why would Ethan be with that bitch? Wait… who said he's my man?" "Stop being stubborn Amy… go get your man from that viper. Don't say I didn't warn you."
To say Ethan was shocked by Annastasia's request would be an understatement, he was appalled. They hardly knew each other yet she was asking him to take her to his house. Seriously, who does that? He didn't want to sound rude since he was trying to make amends so he told her to wait in his assistant’s office. Grabbing his phone he called Lucas. "Hey man, what's up?" Lucas' voice came through the phone. "Hey bro.. I have an issue. Can you arrange a suite for me at your hotel?" Ethan asked. "What? Don't tell me you plan to cheat on your wife. I met her and she's feisty, I'll be killed too if she finds out." "What are you saying?" Ethan groaned, pinching the space between his eyebrows. "I'm serious, man… I won't help you cheat. Just continue being the loyal husband you've always been." "Would you listen to me first? I need to arrange accommodation for someone who's stranded," Ethan remarked. "Um….why not use your usual suite?" "Are you crazy? That's my space… only my
Ethan couldn't wipe off the huge grin on his face as he watched Amelia in amusement. Her claiming him publicly was the hottest thing he had ever seen. Seeing her so angry was funny to him. She looked like an angry kitten with puffed up cheeks and adorable pale-green eyes. Suppressing his laughter, he wanted to let Anna know that he wasn't seeking her out with other intentions but to make sure she was doing alright after the unfortunate incident even though many years had passed. Before he could utter a word, Amelia had pushed her chair backward, creating a screeching sound. She got up from her seat then glared at Ethan, "aren't you going home?" "Um… yeah.. let's go," Ethan said then stood up and looked at Anna apologetically. "My friend will arrange your stay until you find accommodation. I have to go now-" "Ethan!" Amelia spat, she was already three steps ahead and had stopped to call for Ethan who had lagged behind. "Coming!" Ethan replied and followed Amelia out lik
