Chapter 9

Axel could clearly see Samuel's sour expression since this morning. Believing that his boss might be going through something, he decided to muster the courage to ask. Who knows, he might be able to help solve the problem Samuel was currently facing.

Furthermore, Axel couldn't let Samuel continue to be so irritable. In the long run, it would affect the man's performance in completing his tasks.

"What's really going on, sir? I've noticed for a while now that you seem a bit puzzled," Axel inquired. Samuel turned and, after sighing repeatedly, attempted to answer Axel's question with uncertainty. Whatever he was thinking right now seemed to be bothering him, not a little, but a lot.

"You can read this proposal yourself," Samuel said, offering a folder with documents to Axel. He preferred his assistant to read it himself rather than explaining it as usual.
