Chapter 2 2

“ I do not want you to leave with this grudge in your heart ma’am, so please accept this cash I am offering as compensation for causing you pain“, she contended so much. The lady noticed how serious and remorseful she was, her right hand lifted slowly but still with fear and her daughter witnessing what had been going on, she told her mom to accept the money as the stranger was sincere with her apologies.

“Thank you ma’am“, her ears savored the lady’s appreciation and with her mouth part opened up exposing her clean white teeth, lined up finely, she nodded in fulfillment as she lowered her gaze to the little girl, and with her left hand, she caressed her pelt.

Veering around, from Jane, the lady left her walking away with her daughter while she stood there watching them disappearing into a passageway leading to another path. Taking her head up and wondering the disaster she could have caused with her reckless attitude, she held her head with her both hands caressing her hair and thinking of reaching home to get a bath and think of a way forward.

The pain in her heart had not disappeared but it had reduced with the scenario that she had just lived some moments ago.

“ This is too much for me to pay dividends and what did I ever do wrong for my life to always be envied by others not knowing the struggles that I undergo daily trying impress my patriarchal father“.

Blown by a cold breeze, she thought back to return her car and with a look at the street, a feeling of shock clouded her being as she looked in dismay. Jane was not familiar with the path where she was so she looked around hoping to find someone but the road was as deserted as the pathway to a cemetery.

“How do I get here?“, she asked in an attempt to recall but her mind had been blocked with the revulsion and pain that she was feeling, and her vision did not see that the road she was taking was not the path leading to her destination.

The noises from a nearby bar could be heard and that was what she was going to use to track her way back out of the little remote freeway that she had taken. The expression on her face was bewildering as she could not even recall taking that path and wondering when she had left the main road. Recalling the location tracker on her phone, Jane expressed her happiness with a smile, and just as she was about to take a step, she heard someone talking from behind in the nearby bushes,

“ Hey young lady, do not move an inch from where you are standing“, a voice spoke from behind, and Jane, not knowing what to do froze on the spot. Her heart-melting in her chest, she thought of veering around slowly but the voice told her not to do anything stupid else she was going to regret it. Those words made her respect everything she was being instructed to do.

“What a beautiful auto we have here, I am sure it must have cost a fortune“, Hendrick spoke out as he admired her automobile. Jane scared for her life, asked him what he wanted from her but shutting her up with a loud tone, he said,

“ You are in my territory and I can do whatsoever I want with you without anyone finding out“. Hendrick said walking away from her car and heading towards her. Jane heart pounded in her chest and the feeling almost threw her to the ground.

Her legs had become weak and her whole body had turned stiff as though she was a statue and feeling his presence come by her, she felt a grip on her arm tighten up leaving her in pain.

“Stop please you are hurting me, I can give you anything you say it“, she pleaded for her life, but Hendrick who saw it as his lucky day cared less about her applications as his only concern was to grab the money she was having inside her car.

“ This is my lucky day, and more to that I will not have to struggle with her as she is a woman“, his face lightened up with joy. Struggling to take her arm off his hands, Jane hand mistakenly pulled out the clothing that was covering part of his face, and Hendrick not being able to stop the situation before it happened, all he had felt was the piece of clothing slipping out of his face and falling to the ground.

He faltered at the reaction of his face holder falling on the surface and out of shock, Janes eyes met his as she was surprised about what she had just done. Covered with fear, her countenance had changed as her lips shook desperately, leaving her eyes wide open with tears running down her cheeks. Her mouth had been loose from not knowing his next reaction but in the thick of all that, she could not help herself from admiring how physically built and handsome Hendrick looks like a man.

Henry is well built, more like an athlete, or he did the suitable sports which painted his manly traits. One could look at him and drip saliva out of her mouth. He could be labeled as every woman’s dream. He was clothed in a white t-shirt but from looking at him, his shoulders were broad giving him a somewhat gigantic look.

Unlike some jug belly men out there especially most of the rich ones that Jane had been seeing, he made a notable difference that challenged the rest to work harder, not only to pursue wealth but to also construct a flawless body to showcase around added to their wealth and affluence.

All his focus was on the money and the cards that were given to him and with a gaze on the car, he thought of what he could do with it.
