“Wait, what are you doing here Jane?“ Marcus in shock asked and Jane reversed the question asking him what he was doing at the hospital, and adding to it, she asked if there were any problems or whether he had someone at the hospital.

From the look of things, Marcus was already busted out and his lips were shivering from not knowing what next to respond to Jane’s question.

“Excuse ma’am, do you know him?“ One of the officers snatched the question out of Hendrick’s mouth and Jane said that he was her friend’s boyfriend, another trait of disturbance cropped up on her face again when she asked them what the matter was.

The police officers looked at Jane and asked if the friend she was referring to was called Becker Craig and she confirmed it and when they said that David had run her down, David immediately defended himself saying that he had not even touched the lady when she slumped before his car and he rushed to meet with her and found her already looking battered.
