When Serena finally opened her eyes again, she found herself lying on a soft bed that felt so inviting, it made her want to stay there forever.

The familiar smell of antiseptics and the scent of the drip filled her nostrils, reminding her that she was in a place of healing.

It was then that she noticed the IV drip attached to her arm. Although she wasn't in a hospital, she realised she was still receiving treatment in this place.

Suddenly, the door swung open, and a female Korean doctor entered, wearing a white coat and holding a tablet in her hands.

“Where am I?” Serena asked quickly, trying to sit up. But as she did, a sharp pain shot through her body, causing her to collapse back onto the bed.

“I’d advise you to rest for a while before trying to move around, Mrs. Serena,” the doctor said gently. Her English was not perfect, and her Korean accent was quite strong, but Serena was able to understand her clearly. “Your body has been through so much these past days.”
