I didn’t know why, but my chest felt heavy like something was pressing against it, invisible and unbearable. I sat by the wide window in Ethan’s temporary safe house, staring at the quiet trees outside. The world looked peaceful, but inside me… a storm was brewing.

I hadn’t slept well. My dreams were strange. One of them felt so real, my mom sitting alone in her hospital bed, her eyes searching the room, lips trembling as if calling my name. I woke up sweating, my heart racing, but I didn’t know if it was a dream or something more.

“Ethan,” I called softly as I stood up, pulling the cardigan tighter around me.

He was at the corner table, tapping on his tablet, checking signals and reports. He looked up immediately. “What’s wrong?”

I shook my head, unsure how to explain it. “I feel... something’s off. Like something bad happened.”

He stood, walked to me, and gently placed a hand on my shoulder. “You’re safe here. Nothing can reach you now.”

“But that’s the problem,” I said, voice break

  • The Billionaire’s Untamed Possession   no more running

No More Running"The night air was cold, sharp like a blade. Fog clung to the road as I drove through the winding countryside, my hand steady on the wheel. Evelyn was asleep beside me, wrapped in a thick blanket. Her breathing was soft now, but I knew that wouldn’t last. Not when she realized just how dangerous this had become.I checked the rearview mirror again. No headlights. No drones. No signal pings.I had made sure of that.Back at the apartment, I’d crushed both our phones, destroyed all digital links. Even the cameras were ripped apart. I wasn’t taking any more chances. This enemy wasn’t just watching us they were predicting us. They were good. Too good. And that scared me.It took us nearly two hours to reach the safehouse. It was hidden behind a dense forest, shielded by satellite-blocking technology. I built this place years ago when I was still in training back when I believed preparation could keep everyone safe. Now I wasn’t so sure.I parked the car, carried Evelyn ins

  • The Billionaire’s Untamed Possession   Something Isn’t Right

The morning light slipped through the cracks in the curtains, brushing against the old wooden floor of Ethan’s safehouse. It was too quiet.I stirred awake, the pillow still warm from sleep, but my mind wasn’t rested. My body felt safe here, wrapped in soft blankets and surrounded by calm, but my heart? It was unsettled. There was a tension in the air that I couldn't explain.I sat up slowly, the scent of coffee drifting from the other room. Ethan was awake. Probably already at his laptop, running checks and systems like he always did.As I tiptoed down the hall, I heard it. His voice. Low and serious, just behind the door of his hidden workroom.“...No. Sean can’t know. Not yet. Not until I confirm the link with her father’s case.”I froze. He was talking about Sean. And… My father? My fingers tightened against the wall beside me. My heart started pounding. I didn’t hear the rest. The door muffled the rest of his words, and soon, silence.I quickly backed away, pretending I had just

  • The Billionaire’s Untamed Possession   Your Little Butterfly Is in Danger”

The night was silent, but something about it felt wrong.I stood by the tall glass window of my study, watching the dark sky over Paris, the lights from the city flickering like ghosts. The silence in the house felt heavier than usual. Maybe it was because she wasn’t here. Evelyn.I still hadn’t been able to reach her. Not one call. Not one message. Not a sign.I clenched my jaw and turned back to the room. Ray had taken over the far end of my desk, multiple laptops open, his fingers moving with sharp, precise rhythm. The man had always worked like a machine cold, fast, focused.“Still nothing?” I asked, already knowing the answer.Ray didn’t lift his eyes. “Plenty. Just not what you’re expecting.”I poured myself a drink, the ice clinking loudly in the glass. “Say it straight.”Ray finally looked up. “Someone accessed a secure underworld line, an old one your grandfather used in the 80s. Hidden codes. Dead drops. But this one… this one was meant for you.”I walked over slowly. “For m

  • The Billionaire’s Untamed Possession   mother's Pain

The skies outside Ethan’s safehouse were cloudy, quiet. I didn’t know the storm was already gathering elsewhere inside the cold white walls of the hospital, where my mother lay weaker than before. That morning, while I sipped tea and helped Ethan sort through some printed files about anonymous surveillance methods, something tugged at the edge of my chest. A strange tightness. Like I had forgotten something important.Far away, at Saint Mary's Hospital, my mother hadn’t spoken since dawn. She kept her eyes closed. Her food tray sat untouched on the side table. The nurse had tried everything: soft words, warm soup, her favorite music. But nothing worked.“She hasn't eaten since yesterday,” the young nurse whispered to the Head of the hospital, Dr. Amélie Fournier.Dr. Fournier's face tensed with concern. “Call her attending physician. And bring me her vitals.”Fifteen minutes later, after reviewing the charts and standing beside the bed of the woman who once raised a fierce, independen

  • The Billionaire’s Untamed Possession   Grandpa POV

I’ve lived long enough to know when silence is more powerful than truth. And today, I used it like a shield. They think they’re clever, those officers in suits. Asking me questions layered in politeness, pretending they already have the answers. But they don’t. Not yet. And I don’t plan on giving them anything they can use.I adjusted the cufflinks on my wrist solid gold, engraved with my family crest and stepped into the hallway of the bureau. My cane clicked against the polished floor as I walked. I didn’t need it. Not really. But it served its purpose. It made me appear old. Harmless. Almost forgotten. And that was my best weapon.I spotted Nick young, tense, eyes too wide for someone who’s seen as much as he has. I knew that look. Doubt. Fear. Conflict.Poor boy. He still sees the world in black and white. But he doesn’t realize yet… the people who survive in this world? We all live in shades of grey.Nick grew up with Sean. I know. I helped raise him like one of my own. He used t
