“Nate, I don’t want you to take this personal –” He started to say but I turned sideways to stare at him as I started to breath out in a low voice.

“Shut up, Eric.” I growled at him but he didn’t look like he was barely dazed by my words and only paused for a moment before starting to speak once again.
