Chapter Thirty-one

“It’s about what actually happened three years ago.” Henry said and Ann looked so surprised. She wondered what he was going to talk about.

“What about it?” Ann said

“Before I proceed, I want to apologize to you for the way I reacted when you tried to talk about it the first time we met. I didn’t expect to see someone who knows about that night in such a place.”Henry said

“You’ve apologized to me already, why are you bringing it up again?” Ann said

“It seems you’re not listening to me. The thing is, I regained my memory of that night.” Henry said

“What memory are you talking about? Can you please talk in a way that I will understand instead of going through corners?” Ann said

“Okay. I lost my memory of that night. I couldn’t remember anything when I woke up the next morning ,not even how I got there. I was going to ask you about it but I had an emergency. I received a call from home that my mom passed away that morning so I had to leave immediately.
