"That's awfully fucking convenient," Jinx snarled, mocking Liam's statement of 'I deal in secrets and know when it's best to keep them or best to spill them.'"Can someone please catch me up on what the fuck is going on?” Hades cut in. “Since when does Jinx have a seeding pocket? And who's going to be fucking him?""Since I was born," Jinx answered, his dark glare not wavering from Liam. "And nobody is fucking me. That option is off the table.""You... but..." Hades looked like his brain was about to explode."How do you think toms reproduced? No-furs didn't always exist. The omegas used to be toms, and nearly every Orangelo used to be an omega." Jinx opted for the short version of the story his people told. "There's a great legend about all this but I'll have to tell you later. Once we've settled the fact that my pocket is very much off-limits."Guru scratched his head. "I'm doing my best to keep up here but you have no-fur parts? And you're a tom. But you have a problem with sex? Th
Priest sighed. There were more no-furs to indoctrinate today. There was the strange creature that had come through the portal to deal with. His benefactor didn't seem to understand what they were trying to do here. And it was barely past noon. The Grey-fur pirate captain wasn't a tyrant but he liked things to run well and on schedule. At this rate, he was going to have to have Bright and his compatriot escort the no-fur waiting for his first Marking to a housing cage and scrap the attempt to discover if he was able to be drained today or not. Ink had better have a fantastic, or at least passable, excuse for not showing up.It had been the better part of an hour. And the no-fur called Spitfire was forthcoming enough during the interrogation for Priest to know there might be a problem with him. What else was new? Priest would only let certain types of no-furs serve and he was getting less and less of those. It wasn't the way of the world. Bonded no-furs were rarer than the ones used lik
It wasn't moving when Agent approached the cage that held the creature named Lexi. It very likely had a more dignified Demon name, and King would know it if he were here. But he wasn't and Agent didn't care to find out. There were more important bits of information he needed from the Demon.Blinking several times to awaken his godsight and trying not to be concerned about how long it took for his eyes to adjust to using the power, Agent bent low to examine the motionless green body. The spirals of connection flared out from it in varying degrees of importance. The brightest connection, shining bright like a star, was an Innehavre connection to Agent's rival for the power of Chaos.Pressing his lips together, Agent rocked back onto his heels. He tapped his toes on the floor as he considered the creature, wondering how useful it could really be. After all, it was part of the legacy of the candidates for the power of Chaos to be led around by their connections to their bonded mates. That
Some of this was very familiar for the lonely, frightened no-fur that was known and loved as Doll but who currently was back to being the nothing the brainwashing in Persiana had made him. He'd been poked and prodded and tested before. Some of it chilled him to the core and he didn't even know why. It wasn't possible to lose more of himself, was it? Maybe he would be twisted into something new by these horrible strangers. The ones with large ears and sharp teeth. When he awoke, the warmth of Spitfire was gone. He'd stretched his arm as far as he could only to find a cold bed. He'd gone walking to explore where he was and the tom who led him back had been comforting. But then he'd been put under guard and taunted by a brown and orange long-eared creature. Now that same monster had dragged him to a room where he was strapped down in a chair, asked a million questions he couldn't answer, and left like that for he had no idea how long. The no-fur was sad, though it felt like he wasn't all
It was a long helicopter ride from Liam Martelli's tower to the first location Jinx had picked out to look for the circus where he hoped his brother was. It had been an empty field, the circus already moved on. Jinx felt stupid for not checking the internet before he flew all the way here, but now that they had double-checked the other locations, they were on the way to the second choice. According to the stream of social media pictures, the circus was still setting up there. But it meant another two hours in the air with the other toms.It wasn't Jinx's idea of a good time, but at least they were mostly silent. He was still trying to sort out the connection that had formed between Guru and Hades. They sat in the back of the helicopter, with Hades constantly giving Guru little touches and glances, all seemingly meant to comfort. Not that Jinx could blame him. Guru was a mess. Finding out that he didn't have a full bond with Spitfire had really thrown the tom for a loop.
Climbing out of the helicopter, Hades groaned as he stretched his muscles. He even went down on all fours, arching his back. He let out a hiss as his spine popped and cracked as he stretched himself from ears to tail until all the noise stopped."There had to be a better way to get where we needed to go." The Black-fur complained as he straightened up. "Like one of those big shiny jets you mob types are supposed to have.""Quit your bitching, Shady." Jinx bumped his shoulder against Hades's as he circled the helicopter, looking out into the field around them for something."The circus is over there," Hades pointed out, though his own eyes were searching the brush and woods on the edge of the field for movement. He had been surprised by creatures and toms coming out of places they shouldn't be too many times in his lifenotto be vigilant."I know, but that doesn't mean that's where the circus folk are. I saw some wagons over in that direction, a
Guru had decided to move away from where Liam and Jinx were sharing a deep conversation. Though he had hoped to be friends with the Orangelo, the Blonde-fur celebrity felt like that was impossible now. It wasn't in anything Jinx said but the few looks Guru caught when Jinx thought he was looking elsewhere said volumes. He hadn't meant to drive a wedge between Hades and Jinx, but something had happened when they had all... well... did what they did. Guru knew it was an orgy by definition but it felt like more."But what do I know?" Guru was turning in circles under hoping to catch a fast napthat definitely wasn’t a sulk. He finally settled and curled up as comfortably as he was going to get. "I saw love in my Spitfire's eyes. All the times we've been together, it felt like he wanted to own my heart and my soul. And I wanted to give him all of that and more. Isn't that bonding?"Glad no one could hear him, Guru buried his face in his paws and succumbed
Spitfire was not in the most comfortable of positions as a sickeningly sweet incense assaulted him and roused him from his earlier sedation. The tall ginger-haired no-fur was sort of floating and spinning upright in mid-air. There were tethers of some kind of auric signature he'd never felt before on his neck, ankles, and wrists. As of yet, they were not attached to anything to anchor him in place. There were a lot of blood stains underneath where he was suspended in mid-air and that was the safest place to look. All around him were shining, almost blinding walls of crystal and robed figures moving in and out of his vision. He kept spinning slowly as if his naked body was on display. One of the robed figures came forward and took down his hood. Spitfire recognized the Captain he'd met before. The tom's eyes were glazed over in a way that made him feel like Priest wasn't seeing him as a living creature with feelings but as something to be used."You have been called to serve. Enjoy wha
