Kieran’s POV,

“So, what have you decided, finally?” I was sitting in the royal council chamber when King Aldric’s voice shattered the silence. The candle flames flickered casting restless shadows across the room as the king and the elders of the royal pack leaned in to hear my response.

Across the oak table, Princess Lyria was glancing at me, her fingers clenched so tightly that her knuckles gleamed white against her emerald gown. She was beautiful, no question about it but her eyes burned with a dark fire that set my wolf on edge.

I finally leaned forward, keeping my voice calm like a quiet lake. “As the Alpha of the Shadowmoon Clan, I agree to this marriage proposal under a few certain conditions. You must share your grain reserves and grant full access to your ports for my pack from now on. My people need food and trade to face the upcoming winter.”

“Haha…” King Aldric burst into laughter all of a sudden. “That’s a steep price, Alpha,” he growled. “Our grain is our lifeblood, and th

Mira’s POV,Evening came crawling slowly, casting long shadows across the silk-draped room as I was way too exhausted to even notice anything else around me. But I could feel my body recovering slowly, the dull ache in my bones fading. Even my bleeding had stopped long ago, giving my fetus another chance to survive. The h

Mira’s POV,The bright morning light stabbed through the barred window, slicing across the golden silk curtains. I woke up with a sudden jolt, my body feeling too heavy to move an inch. It had been almost three days and I was still living under Kyden’s house arrest, having no permission to set my feet on open ground.I could feel that lying in bed idly and eating little was making my bones weaker and leaving me exhausted. My health felt off, with a dull ache in my bones and my wolf whining li

Kyden’s POV,“Spread the words among the pack members,” I ordered in a sharp growl as I stood in my study, the floor touched window casting dim light on my masked face. Make it believable.”

  • The Breeder of Alpha   Chapter 110

Mira’s POV,“Damn it! Damn you, Kyden!”I let out a sharp grunt and shoved the heavy rug aside. The sky was already starting to lighten when I finally gave up exhausting myself searching the room. I’d pulled back all the heavy, swaying silk curtains, checked the walls, even combed over the floor for the entire night. But there was nothing in this room. No way out, no hidden door… nothing!“Ouch! Crap!”I yanked my finger up, seeing blood drip onto the floor. A nail was sticking out of the wooden floor, hidden under the rug, and I’d just caught it. I rushed to find something to wipe the blood, but the cut was already healing on its own. I let out a frustrated sigh, clutching my finger.Of course Kyden wouldn’t lock me in here if there was any way out. I knew I wouldn’t find anything, but I still kept looking, tried to find anything to calm my restless mind. But my pup began kicking me sharply and this time, I had stop walking around the room.By the time dawn was breaking, I slumped on
