Author’s POV

Chase stopped the car when he reached at the location Albert sent to him.

He came out of his car and found himself standing in front of an old abandoned warehouse.

His heart was still trembling in his chest for Cara. He just hoped that she is okay and is waiting for him.

He moved his gaze to take in his surrounding and saw no one. He frowned. He thought the place would be guarded by at least few goons if not by many but it looked like there was not a single living being breathing around here.

He was just about to fish his phone from his pocket when his phone started ringing making his jaw clench.

He slid his fingers over the phone screen and put it over his ear. His grip on his phone tightened when he heard the voice, “Finally you are here”.

Chase moved his gaze and it fell on the person he wants to kill at this very moment with his bare hands, standing near the entrance of the warehouse.
