Chapter 12

~Something is wrong, I can feel it~

Alyne hold back her tears. How couldn't? She has been waiting for Herrin for two hours more, but that boy still hasn't come. Her phone battery had been finished five minutes since he had left her. The meatball seller had already closed his sale an hour ago.

Sh wanted to be angry but she couldn't. She was too tired to express her emotions.

The sound of the car roaring made her lift her head.  Immediately, she breathed a sigh of relief. Herrin finally come to pick her up.  The boy rushed out after stopping his car.

"Why are you still waiting?"  asked Herrin in disbelief for a moment after standing in front of Alyne.

"You told me to wait."

Guilt filled Herrin's heart and mind again. He had send her a message to back to home soon and not to wait for him. But she didn't read the message, that made him rush back to the place where he left Alyne.
