Chapter 56

Ryan’s point of view

Who could tell that the little nap session I wanted for myself would result into a complex situation. Because what on earth is Marcy doing in an exposed lingerie that perfectly captured the essence of her curves and body.

And then proceed to ask me, “Do I look good in this?”

I was too stunned to speak, to answer her and try to dredge up her motive for whatever this is. She knows I’m gay right? So why does it look like she’s trying to seduce me.

She geared into anger when she noticed I wouldn’t talk to her, or reply her, rather I’m just seated there with my eyes fixed on her and a pale expression on my face.

“Do I look that bad? You could have at least tried to be nice.” She hissed at me and rolled her eyes. “Oh God!” She lamented as she walked over to the cushion in my room.

“Is it my body? Do I need to slim down? But I’ve been on diet since birth now, seriously can you tell me what the fuck is wrong?” She flared up at me, frustration in her

Chapter 70Ryan’s point of view I went into the house, and there he was. His beauty stressed, but still radiant. His gaze lingered on me for too long, just like mine captured his essence as I strolled over to where he stood. I’ve missed him, there’s no denying that. I’ve missed his grumpy handsome face, his stoic aura, and every little details about him.As soon as our face came together up close, I leaned forward with my eyes concealed, and soon the soft feel of his lips touched mine. He opened up, not restrictive as he usually is. He allowed the contact of our lips danced into something warmer and passionate. I pulled into the kiss, the whole of my system filled with sparks. My arms circled around him, my left rolled low and beside his wait, and my right hand guarded the movement of his head with a gentle grip on his nape. “Uhm….. hello, I’m still here and would very much like you both to get a room?!” Startled, I was forced away from the kiss as my head tilted to the side so

Chapter 69 Sebastian’s point of view Xavier Rodriguez. The man who wouldn’t stop pining for a friendship or a semblance of sort with me. He’s given me more calls than I wish to receive in a day, and countless texts that made me consider silencing my notifications. I don’t know what he wants, or care about it. All I know is that this relentless effort of his to achieve a bond between the both of us would never yield anything positive. Not after I heard about what he did to Ryan. For someone capable of such, it’s abominable to kind of have him around myself. Hypocritical, but I’m aware of the kind of person I am. Xavier still thinks he’s a good guy, and might be a good friend when he wouldn’t be. You grew an obsession with me that made you put three innocent lives into coma, spread lies to destroy strong and genuine friendships. Yeah he’s far from being the good guy, the sooner he realizes that the better it is for him. I’m sure he must be disturbing Donna to secure an appoi

Chapter 68 Ryan’s point of view My grandfather is dead. My mother has decided to remain in hiding, and I finally have an unknown threat after my peace of mind. Matthew Simmons. Who could he be? What could he want? Is he even an he? What did I do to him? My grandfather has been moved to the morgue, there he will be long enough for me to send word throughout the family and we can plan his burial. I on the other hand couldn’t help the cloudy mood that sucked me in after this incident. I’ve had a feeling for a while, I just didn’t expect the feeling to result in the loss of my grandfather. He was dead because of me. He was in that hospital because of me. I was the one who called for him to come here, none of this would have happened if I hadn’t wanted him to come in the first place. Xavier was able to hurt them upon their arrival, and now whoever this Matthew Simmons is took one of them away from me due to the vegetative state they’ve been stuck in. Or is it possible that

  • The CEO’s Private Desires    Chapter 67

Chapter 67 Sebastian’s point of view Stay away from Ryan McCall Growan. My best friend for a decade and more. I’m tasked to stay away from him, with a threat as motivation. No. A gift actually. Whoever this Matthew Simmons was didn’t just make a threat, they blew up a branch of mine that left people dead. Those people died under a stunt pulled against Sebastian Torres. I’m seated in my office staring at the screen of my phone, eyes locked at the message received from the anonymous sender. I could track down who the sender was, but it’d just be another dead-end hold on my target. When would this coward show his or her face? Start to fight more physically. Is this all because of Ryan’s return to my life? Because I let him back in and chose to forgave him? Cause I’ve never dealt with anything like this. My enemies are usually in sight, physically identified for me to aim at and destroy it. They’ve never been one to throw stones at me from the shadow. I need to find this pe

Chapter 66Ryan’s point of view I could no longer return the day I planned to, not after the attempted murder incident. Marcy was traumatized, a sight forced me to stay back, care for her like the amazing husband that I am and cancel my plan to return home or postponed it. I chose the later, postponed it till the next day instead. The next day came quicker than I anticipated, and I was quick to get back on plane flown to LA. Marcy didn’t bother to escort me this time, still conscious of yesterday’s incident. For the rest of yesterday, I couldn’t get through to Seb or Donna either, for both of them to not have reached out or answered when I called them. I have a feeling there’s something going on over there. My mother was still notably absent, and refused to let me know on whether or not she’s okay and doing good wherever she’s gone to hide. I wonder if she’s in contact with Vivian. Vee, I’m sure she’s back to scheming now that Seb has caught up to her lies. Even if mom isn’t in c

  • The CEO’s Private Desires    Chapter 65

Chapter 65Sebastian’s point of view I already had men on Vivian’s trail, keeping track of her every moves just in case she’d make any that confirms my suspicions about her. Today was however, another day for me to tackle with the bald fuckers on my board committee. Those fuckers are always up to something, but the fear they all have for me is what keeping them all in check. That fear won’t last long, I need to constantly remind them why none of my enemies have ever triumphed. Not now, not never, and not in the nearest future. Donna came in early as usual to prep me up on why the board has requested a meeting. It has to do with the recent rumors of me and Ryan, and how the headlines might affect the growth of their invest. “Seriously they’re just old drunks, don’t mind whatever they have to say. You do you, and remind them who the boss is,” Donna said after she was done going over the few hiccups we’ve been dealing with over the weeks. Other than the alliances I’ve struck with t
