I am thrown into a cold cell, loosing my landing and falling on the cold floor.

"You would sleep here for a while." Veronica, Richard's wife sneered at me, the gate banging shut and getting locked.

No, I can't be here. Who would take care of my father?

"I can't stay here. You have to let me out. I didn't do it. Please believe me." I screamed, running to the jail bars to try and convince them to open it.

They can't do this to me, they know I didn't do it. I only helped to bring him here. Then why are they doing this to me.

"Oh, we know honey that you didn't try to kill him. Someone just has to take the blame for me, and that someone is you." Veronica smiled wickedly at me, turning around to walk away, my chance of being set free gone along with her.

I shouldn't have helped him. I should have just let him be when I saw the car crash. Then this wouldn't have happened.

If i had just minded my business, I wouldn't be locked up.

Just in one night, I found out Shane is cheating on me, I 'helped' the son of the man that killed my mother and now I'm locked up.

I was supposed to go see father today, he would be really worried if I don't come see him as usual.

If I had just ignored and let someone else help this wouldn't have happened.

I'm so stupid.

I don't even know when they would decide to let me go, if they would that is.

The mosquitos and cold weather kept me up all night, by morning a piece of stale bread was thrown at me to eat.

None of the police men bothering to find out if what they were told was true.

My hatred for the Tamer family intensified that very second.

_Avery Tamer POV_

I groaned, slowly openiny eyes, shutting them once more when the sunrays threaten to blind me. My head hurting really badly.

"Avery. Oh Avery." A strange woman rushes to me saying my name. I stare at her confused on who she was, why was she acting like she had a close relationship with me?

She lays on my chest as she sobs, speaking incoherent sentences, her tears and makeup staining my clothes.

"Who are you?" I growl, pushing her off me, she looked at me shocked as she tries to balance herself.

I look at Veronica, my step mother and Luke standing behind her, they were both looking at me strangely, like something was odd with me but I don't think too much about it.

How could they let a stranger into my  room and allow her behave this way with me.

Wait, where am I? In a hospital room? Why don't I remember getting here? Oh right, I got into an accident.

I groaned softly holding my head when I start to feel dizzy. Soon enough it cleared and I looked at the woman in disgust, she looked at my mother confused on what to do. She walks to me slowly, reaching for me.

"Avery. It's me Ava. Your girlfriend." She lies trying to touch me and I push her away.

She's my girlfriend? That's an obvious lie. Who would believe her? I might have gotten unto an accident but I'm not stupid.

"Where's Bella? Where's my girlfriend Bella?" I ask when I don't see her around. She should be here shouldn't she?

Luke stares at me confused, then opens his mouth in an 'o' like he understood something.

"Doctor, what's wrong with him? Why can't he remember her? Why is he calling that girl his girlfriend. What's wrong doctor." I hear Veronica ask the doctor and I scowl.

Why is she referring to My Bella like she's trash. They did something to her, I can tell. That's why she's not here.

"It seems he lost a bit of his memories, but they should be back soon enough. Don't stress him or try to force him to remember. Apart from that he's in good condition." Doctor left after saying this.

Veronica smiles at me, sitting beside my bed.

"Avery. How are you feeling? You really don't remember Ava? I know you two had your fights but still…" She starts touching my forehead trying to feel my temperature, I don't know where she's going with this but I don't like it .

"I just got into an accident. That's all." I say, moving my head away from her touch.

She reeked of expensive perfumes and it made me feel nauseated. Bella never used such thick perfumes. She always smells nice.

"Avery, Avery my love. How do you feel now?" The unknown woman reaches for me again and I glare at her in annoyance. Doesn't she understand simple words?

Why did they just let anyone inside. Where are my bodyguards?

"Who is she? Why is she here? Get her out of here." I snapped and she backs away a bit.

"But Avery-" She starts but Luke stops her, whispering something into her ears.

Grumbling she stomped away from my room, banging the door in the process. I would never date someone like that.

"Where's Bella? Why isn't she here yet?" I ask, my eyes darting between Veronica and Luke. Father and my half brother Henry were not here yet but that wasn't really my concern.

"We thought she was the one that caused your accident, so we locked her up." Veronica said and I give her an icy glare. She takes a step back subconscious

"You locked her up?" I asked. I was confused on why she would decide that Bella was the cause of my accident.

"She was the only one with you and she didn't get hurt but you did. What was I supposed to think?" She cried out and Luke rolls his eyes behind her.

"I want her out of there. Take me to her." I ordered immediately, standing up from the bed.
