Chapter Fourteen

Zora’s POV

The day I saw Mia I was so shocked and I kept on wondering why she was so drunk that day.

Or is Derrick beginning to treat her the way he treated me? I’d be a little surprised if he does that because Mia is actually his first love.

“Are you alright?” Austin snapped me out of my thoughts.

He came over to my office to drop the records of their data so far and decided to stay for a while.

“Yes I am fine but there is something bothering me a little bit.” I said and he asked me what was that.

“It’s about Mia, Derrick’s wife.” And immediately he furrowed his eyebrows and asked what about her.

“I bumped into her the other night so drunk and messed up, till some guard came to pick her up.” I discussed it with him and he raised one of his brows.

“Don’t get yourself worked up over it. Maybe she decided to go out for a drink and ended up getting drunk.” Austin pointed out to me and I just nodded, pushing those thoughts aside.

We talked about a few more things before he left.
