Chapter 16 - pray
The room was tense. No one dared to say anything or make a move. Toby knew that Caleb had begun to feel guilty on how it all went down but it was too late to change the past now.
"I'm sorry" Caleb was the first to speak up. It didn't help ease any of the tension in fact it almost made it worse and Toby couldn't help but cringe back into his chair and as he watched Leo's nostrils flare, a clear sign he was angry- no pissed off.

Toby shot out of bed as a loud scream echoed throughout the air. He immediately jumped to alert, his brain pumping wildly with adrenaline. Rowan was on edge the whole day, the letter last night completely threw her off. She'd prepared more for Miles' arrival later though as right now she needed to check on the nations, she wanted to see if anything else had happened.
