7: The staff protest

Anita is left speechless as their mother departs, returning to the room to be with their father. She sighs and gazes at Flora, who appears concerned, and they return to the couch to sit.

"What's the issue?" Esther asks Flora, and Flora shakes her head and responds, "I'm not sure, but I'm really concerned it's about something important."

They patiently wait on the couch for their parent to come out and speak with them.

Anita returns to her room, unsure of the problem. She is confident that her mother will inform them, despite her father's reluctance.

Anita noticed her father was ready for work when he received some distressing news. She silently prayed that it wasn't about him losing his job.

Anita quietly enters her room, haunted by the echoes of her father's screams. He's working in his office while she's on her bed, typing her application letter for the Benson group.
