Kieran’s POV

The council was causing a lot of trouble.

The council leader, Azaro, remarked, "My King, we're just expressing what the people want." Why are you hesitant with her if we have been putting trespassing werewolves to death in accordance with Section 45 of the Constitution, which states that "Any werewolf who enters our lands uninvited must be put to death."

"Because she is my partner." Your future monarch. I left the words lingering. "Tell me, is an invitation required for a queen to stand on her own land?"

They all looked at me as if I had gone crazy.

“Yes, she’s my mate. You heard that right.” I turned to Azaro, eyes sharp. “And unless I’ve missed something, there’s no law forbidding me from taking her as mine, is there?”

Azaro’s old heart probably skipped a beat. “No, my King. But... how do you know she’s truly the one? The fated mate?”

I blinked. “Did I not just tell you she is? What more do you need to hear?”

Their disapproving looks were almost comical—like I’d just told them the moon was made of cheese.

“And what if the people rebel?” another council member asked, cautiously.

I smirked. “Then as their King, if they can’t accept or recognize their Queen, I have every right to disown them from the coven. That’s Section 105, isn’t it, Azaro?”

“You are correct, Your Majesty,” he said, voice tight.

“Then it’s settled. From now on, you will address her as your Queen.”

That’s when we heard the rush of footsteps echoing through the halls.

The guards I’d stationed outside Anastasia’s room burst into the council chamber, breathless. A serious offense—interrupting council proceedings could get you executed. But I’d given strict orders: if anything happened to her, they were to come to me immediately.

“Speak,” I commanded.

“My King,” one of them stammered, “Lady Lianna arrived and ordered us to abandon our post. She entered the room.”

“What?” My voice dropped with fury. “I gave you direct orders not to leave that door or let anyone in. If anything’s happened to Anastasia, you’ll suffer my wrath.”

I was already storming down the corridor before the last word left my mouth.

Lianna. She’d never been rational, especially when it came to werewolves—blaming them for her brother’s death. Gods only knew what she’d done.

I slammed open the door—and froze.

Water exploded out of the room, flooding into the hallway. Lianna’s body lay sprawled on the floor, soaked and motionless. Her guard was down too. The entire room was submerged, almost to the ceiling. It was like a tidal wave had crashed into it.

“What in the gods’ names...?” Azaro muttered, pushing past me and dropping to his daughter’s side. He frantically tried to revive her, forcing water from her lungs.

I found Anastasia curled in a corner, shivering. Her teeth chattered uncontrollably. She looked terrified—too scared to even raise her head.

“Ana,” I said softly.

She turned slowly toward my voice. And then, without warning, she stumbled into my arms, clutching me like her life depended on it—before passing out. Even unconscious, she refused to let go.

I called for Matif. He arrived quickly and bent over Lianna. At first, he hesitated—clearly not thrilled to help her—but seeing Azaro unraveling, he finally muttered something in the old tongue. Lianna sputtered, coughing up water, and her eyes fluttered open.

The second she saw Anastasia, panic crossed her face. She scrambled to her feet like a mouse fleeing a cat and ran out of the room. Her guard, now awake, followed her without a word.

Azaro turned to me, still kneeling in the water. “My King... what just happened? Is there something you haven’t told us?”

“There’s nothing you need to know,” I replied flatly. “The information you're entitled to has been given. This meeting is over.”

I gestured for Matif to follow me, and together we carried Ana to a new room. Hers was destroyed—soaked and uninhabitable.

Once she was safely lying in bed, I turned to Matif. “What the hell just happened?”

He hesitated, then asked, “Have you ever heard of the Moonborn Siren, sire?”

I searched my memory. “No. Why?”

“You’ll understand your mate better once you do.” That was all he said before bowing and leaving like a cryptic old seer.

Gods, I hated when he did that.

After the maids finished drying and changing Ana, I headed to the royal library. I searched every corner until I found a thick, deep blue book embossed with swirling silver patterns. The title caught my eye: The Moonborn Siren.

Back in my chambers, I sat beside Ana’s bed and flipped open the ancient pages, glancing at her now and then as she slept.

The book described a powerful being created by the Moon Goddess to end a centuries-long war that ravaged both land and sea. This being—half-wolf, half-siren—was blessed with the blood of the sea and the heart of a wolf.

According to the legends, the Moonborn Siren was the prophesied savior of the ocean, the rightful ruler who would free her people from the tyranny of a cruel sea queen. She bore the true royal bloodline of the sea folk, the only one able to command both the moon and the tides. Among the merfolk, she was known as the Daughter of the Sea. The one destined to wield the Trident of Power.

I looked up from the page and saw Ana stir, her brow furrowing in her sleep.

Something twisted in my chest.

That reaction was foreign to me.

But I knew what it meant.

She wasn’t just my mate. She was something far greater.

  • The Cold Vampire King's Omega   Kael’s Descent

The storm broke before dawn.Winds howled over the cliffs, battering the fortress walls as if the gods themselves were trying to tear down the kingdom from the outside in.Kael stood in the barracks courtyard, muscles tense, breath heaving. His skin shimmered with silver veins lightning etched beneath the surface. His eyes were no longer his own. They glowed like twin moons.“Kael,” Kaleb called out, stepping slowly across the shattered flagstones. “You need to stand down. Now.”But Kael didn’t hear him. Couldn’t.Something ancient howled through his blood. The battle had started as a minor skirmish Morgala’s wraithspawn ambushing the north outpost but as soon as Kael had struck the first blow, the curse had surged through him like wildfire. Now, he was no longer just a man.He was moonlight unbound.Clawed hands. Jagged wings of shadow and frost. A pulse of energy that made the air crackle.Kaleb raised his blade in defense. “You’re not thinking clearly whatever this is, fight it!”K

  • The Cold Vampire King's Omega   Secrets of the Sunken City

The sea swallowed light in silence.Anastasia stood on the edge of the cliff, winds screaming around her like spirits warning her to turn back. Below, the ocean churned with unrest, and beyond the veil of mist and tide, a forgotten place waited Elaris, the Sunken City.“I thought it was a myth,” Kaleb murmured at her side, gripping the reins of his tide-runner beast. “They say no soul returns from Elaris.”Anastasia’s hand rested lightly on her abdomen. A strange ache pulsed there not pain exactly, but a soft hum, as though something inside her had begun to awaken. She didn’t respond. She couldn’t. Not when her dreams had shown her this place night after night its drowned towers whispering truths from beneath the sea.She took a breath. “Then let’s be the first.”The descent was treacherous. They rode enchanted water trails that twisted between coral-covered ruins and kelp-throttled statues. All around them, the bones of what had once been a glorious civilization loomed arches of silv

  • The Cold Vampire King's Omega    The Moonfire Eclipse

The Moon Seer stood barefoot atop the obsidian tower, her milky eyes reflecting the night sky. Below, the palace slumbered, unaware of the warning she had seen written in the stars.“It’s coming,” she whispered to the wind. “The Moonfire Eclipse. And with it… the convergence.”... Anastasia could feel it something heavy shifting in the tides, as if the ocean itself was holding its breath. The vision still haunted her: Morgala seated on a throne of bone and salt, sea and sky twisted into one horrific realm. The eclipse would not just darken the moon it would break the barrier between the oceanic and celestial realms. Morgala would be unstoppable then, her powers stretching beyond the deep, touching the heavens.“It will happen at the peak of the eclipse,” the Moon Seer had told her, pale fingers tracing the shape of the twin moons. “When seafoam kisses starlight… and blood opens the rift.”Anastasia stood on the palace’s edge, staring at the rising tide, her reflection rippling benea

  • The Cold Vampire King's Omega   – The Moon Tribunal

The storm that followed the Leviathan's retreat had nothing to do with the weather. It was in the eyes of the people, the hurried whispers in the halls, the way the elders sat in stiff silence as if holding their breath.Anastasia stood in the center of the council chamber, bathed in the cold light streaming from the crescent windows above. Her wrists were bare, her crownless head held high, but her heart pounded so loud she wondered if everyone could hear it.She wasn't in chains but this wasn’t freedom either.“The Moon Tribunal is in session,” boomed Elder Callis, his voice flat, emotionless. “By order of the Council of Ancients, we convene to determine whether Lady Anastasia of the Surface, Moon-Sea Touched, is a harbinger of our kingdom’s ruin.”The words cut deeper than she expected.“Objection,” Kael growled before they could continue. He stepped forward from his throne, cloak brushing the marble like a shadow. “She saved us. All of you saw it.”“And yet,” Elder Azaro’s second,

  • The Cold Vampire King's Omega   Traitor’s Price

“You were right,” Kaleb whispered, his face pale as parchment, the scroll trembling in his gloved hands. “Azaro’s a traitor.”Matif turned from the shadows of the war room, his expression darkening. “How sure are you?”Kaleb unrolled the message ink etched in saltblood sigils, a form only Oceanic spies used. “These were hidden in the elder’s study… behind his ceremonial crest.”Anastasia stepped closer, her eyes narrowing as she read the message aloud:“When the pact is sealed and the tide begins to rise, unleash the Leviathan and break the spine of the kingdom. Then, the Queen shall return.”Her stomach twisted.Queen. Morgala.Azaro had been feeding the sea witch everything. Positions of troops. Ritual weaknesses. Even Kael’s declining health.“Where is he now?” she asked, her voice ice.Kaleb's jaw tensed. “He’s at the old tribunal chamber. Preparing for today’s council.”Anastasia didn’t wait. She burst through the doors, cape snapping like thunder behind her as she raced through

  • The Cold Vampire King's Omega   The Blooded Pact

Kael collapsed in the heart of the battlefield, his body hitting the earth with a force that sent dust spiraling into the bloodied wind.Around him, the remnants of Morgala’s beasts lay torn, but they had taken more than just flesh and breath. They had taken his strength. His sanity. His control.A sickly glow pulsed beneath his skin cracks spiderwebbing along his arms and neck, burning with the silvery fire of the moon runes. His heart beat like a war drum gone mad. Every thump felt like a blade lodged deeper in his chest. The curse was eating him alive.“Kael!” Anastasia’s scream cut through the air as she raced down the scorched hill, her feet barely touching the ground. Matif was already beside him, his face pale, his hands glowing as he tried in vain to stem the spread of the runes.“This is it,” Kael rasped, blood trickling from the corner of his mouth. “The curse… it’s taking my heart.”“No,” Anastasia said, kneeling beside him, her voice trembling with fear and fury. “We’re no
