Andre's POV

The day rolled by painfully slowly and I was eager to see her again. She didn't show up at the ranch earlier due to some meeting she had. I found out because I crawled over to her ranch. I was worried but lucky, she wasn't home to see my frantic state. I meet Paola instead, her nanny who looked after us some years ago.

She looked so different now, her hair turned whitish from the last time I saw her, and wrinkles danced on her soft features and hands. Her nose turned slightly crooked and her lips had thinned out. In contrast to all these, her eyes never lost their sparkle.

"Is Catalina here? She didn't show up today? Is everything okay?" I asked her while trying my possible best to hide my worried expression.
