Hot Mess

I was a hot mess by the time I came back to the pack house. It was the middle of the night and I was grateful that it seemed quiet. I decided to go through the garden and in a back way trying to avoid as many wolves out and about in the area. Part of me had even debated about going to Laura but she had been happy with me that I was eating breakfast with them since Sophia had been staying and the last thing I wanted to do was stress her out even more.

I walked into the garden and didn’t see a soul in sight so I took a breath and allowed the moonlight to show me how I really looked. My nails were dirty and muddy and my entire body was covered in scrapes because I’d allowed myself to run into the woods not caring what I ran into.
