16. Special Guest

"Leo, please wake up. It's 10 o'clock." Leo's mother entered his room, drew back the curtains, and the bright rays of sunlight shone directly on his face, causing him to stir in discomfort.

"Mom, I really need to sleep. Please, for God's sake, can you close the curtains?"

"I slept late last night, which is why I won't be attending university right now." Leo said to his mother.

"Leo, one of my friends are visiting today. Please we have to do alot of tasks to accomplish."

Afterward, Leo rose from his bed, selected an outfit from his wardrobe, and headed toward the bathroom.

His mother, in the meantime, tidied up his bed and noticed an ashtray on his bedside table along with some cigarettes on his bed but she didn't respond.

After that, she went downstairs to prepare breakfast for him.

When Leo joined them downstairs, he found his sister sitting at the dining table.

Leo took a seat and greeted his sister, Kelly, saying, "Hey, good morning, what's going on?"
