8. Silent Witness

Leo was alone in his room, which was like a safe and quiet place for him. But now, he felt very troubled and sad because he had learned something terrible about his dad. It felt like a heavy burden on his heart, and the room that used to make him feel calm now made him feel uncomfortable. Everything seemed to be too close and tight as Leo tried to understand the truth that had completely changed how he saw his family.

Leo couldn't sit still any longer, so he got up and started walking back and forth, his mind filled with numerous questions and uncertainties. He couldn't keep his restless thoughts to himself any further, realizing that he had to face his mother and find the elusive answers he sought.

Leo made his way to his mother's room, hesitating for a moment outside the closed door. The echoes of his racing heartbeat reverberated through his chest as he summoned the courage to knock softly.

Leo: "Mom, can I talk to you for a moment? There's something important I need to discuss."
