Relevant For Life

PRESENT TIME

"Okay then bye. I'll see you guys tomorrow at school," Melanie uttered to her friend, Cara. She nodded and spoke

"Talk to Ms. Wilson. Maybe she would spare your detention this time,"

"Hell no. She'll doubled my detention's hours let alone sparing it,"

"Absolutely correct,"

Both the girl turned around and Melanie's jaw tightened by watching the one and only curse of her life.

"Ms. Wilson will definitely double your detention if you went to her, so why don't you go there and do me this pleasure, Gomez? I'll at least get a peaceful sleep tonight," Adrian said, grinning evilly.

Melanie scoffed and retorted back.

"Yeah and I'll f#cking choke you to death in your sleep, so you can get a peaceful sleep for eternity,"

Cara chuckled whereas Adrian frowned.

"Hey! Adrian,"

Adrian tossed his head and saw his friend, Gale coming towards him.

"What's going on in here, guys?" Gale asked.

"Nothing, I was just telling my plan of giving your precious friend a peaceful sleep of eternity," Melanie uttered, smiling innocently.

"And I'll f#cking drag your soul with me to hell, Gomez," Adrian snapped, earning a glare from those hazel eyes.

"But for now, enjoy your detention, my doll," He sneered scorchingly, peering into her eyes and then left from there with his friend, Gale.

"One day, I'll surely remove this burden on earth from this world," Melanie gritted her teeth while throwing daggers at his retracting back and then went to her detention.

After getting done with her detention, Melanie was coming out of her school. Almost every student had left, only some teachers and other staff members were present in the school because the school hours had ended an hour ago.

She sighed because now she had to walk for at least 20 minutes to reach her home. Her father had told her many times that he or the driver would pick her up and would drop her but she wasn't in favour of it. She had always denied him regarding this.

Melanie took out her water bottle from her bag. Sipping the water from it, she was walking towards the main exit of the premises when her eyes wandered over the empty parking lot and her brows arched when something familiar caught her attention there. His motorbike. He had left then what his motorbike was doing there.

"BOO…"

The bottle dropped from her hand. Her breathing hitched hearing that sudden voice from her behind. She turned around and her inflated heart fumed up by finding him there.

"Aww… little Miss Gomez got afraid," Adrian chuckled.

"Salvatore," She seethed and picked up her bottle from the ground.

"The hell you're still doing here? I know you're a ghost but no need to give its proof by roaming around here all alone," She blurted out. Adrian rolled his eyes.

"Ain't you're an ungrateful b#tch, Gomez? I was waiting for you here but I guess you don't deserve it,"

Melanie startled at his words.

"You were waiting for me? Really?"

"Naah, I was waiting for an ugly b#tch, without whom if I would have left then mum would have broken my legs," He gritted out.

A smirk started playing over her lips, at his words.

"Really? What's the plan, Salvatore? Are you planning on killing me by taking me somewhere all alone?"

"You know what? Stay there. I'll tell mum that a wild dog has eaten you raw on our way to home," He threw his words and then turned around to leave but Melanie grabbed his arm.

"Hey.. No… no.. I'm sorry, my Rian baby," She teased him, turning him deadly.

"Piss off, Gomez," He snatched his arm from her hold and walked towards his motorbike.

Melanie, with a chuckle, followed him. She was habitual of going with him back to her home because most of the time, she used to leave with him on his motorbike from school, otherwise her aunt Melissa would turn his ears red, by pulling them, for leaving her there alone at school.

"So, you got detention today?"

"Yes, that's why I'm late," Melanie replied, who was hugging her aunt Melissa like a kid.

"But you had completed your homework last night then why did your teacher give you detention?" Melissa asked, sliding her palm over her head.

Melanie pulled back and snapped her eyes towards him, who was drinking water from his glass but stopping hearing his mother. He gave her a warning look, that if she took his name before his mother, she would be so gone.

Melanie sent him a devilish smile before answering.

"Actually my notebook had been left today in home,"

Adrian was gawking at her and was waiting for her to tell his mother everything.

"But how? You always checked before going out for school?"

Melanie's evil smirk widened at Melissa's question, especially when she noticed he was practically squeezing her existence with his firm gaze.

"Actually I didn't check my bag properly before leaving, so I might have forgotten it in my room," She lied, making him stunned. She didn't rat him out today like always.

"Next time, be careful, Anie. What if it would have been something more important?"

"Sorry, aunt Lissa. I'll be careful from now on,"

He shot her a glare, hearing her.

"Okay kiddos, go and freshen up. I'll make something tasty for you both to eat,"

Melanie nodded at Melissa's words until.

"Your father has told you so many times to get a driver for you, Melanie but you never listen to him,"

Melanie's smile faded, watching the owner of that voice. The woman she despised with everything. Her stepmother…Amelia.. Who used to be her father's friend.

Her father married Amelia when Melanie was 10 years old. The woman always tried to portray herself good and loving in front of her father but Melanie was too clever to sense the bi#ch inside her. She hated Melanie and she knew the very first chance she would get, she was going to try to throw Melanie out of her way but Melanie was just keeping quiet for her father's sake.

"Because my legs are working completely fine," She answered curtly, making Amelia just gaze at her.

"And I don't need a car ride for a 20 minutes walk," Melanie said and turned towards Melissa.

"I'm going to my room, Aunt Lissa. I don't want to eat anything,"

"But Melanie… " Melissa stopped when she saw Melanie turning around and then left.

Melissa sighed, she knew Melanie's relationship wasn't good with her step mother and she knew how Amelia was.

"Mum, I'm hungry. I want to eat," Adrian said to his mother. Melissa nodded, until

"Why won't you, after all, who doesn't like eating free food, like a dog?" Amelia commented, completely displeased by Melissa and his son because according to her, people like Melissa and her son didn't deserve to live with them under the same roof. They were too low and poor for their high class and rich living standards.

Adrian dug his nails on his palm and was about to argue back but Melissa held back his son's hand.

"Bring my coffee in my room in 10 minutes," Amelia ordered and gave a disgusted look to Melissa and Adrian and then left.

"Why do you always let her insult us like that, mum?" His blood was boiling in anger.

Melissa sighed and patted her son's head.

"Because what Mrs Gomez says doesn't matter to me. The fact that Melanie and her father, Mr Gomez treat us like their family is what matters to me, Rian and you should not care about this too. Mr Gomez has done a lot of favours for us and is still doing, so this is the least we can pay him back with," His mother smiled but Adrian was in no mood to get calmed down.

He turned around and dashed out from there, making Melissa exhale sharply. She knew her son had a really bad temper and anger issues, just like his father.

With his fisted palms, Adrian was storming towards his room but stopped when he saw Melanie coming out of her room, after changing into her sweatpants.

Melanie came towards him and noticed the scowl on his face.

"Now what that b#tch said to you?" She asked, already knowing what was the matter.

He didn't reply but just growled and she understood it was really something bad.

"She insulted you and aunt Lissa again? That.. " Melanie didn't have words to utter. She loathed when someone insulted Melissa and she knew how good her step mother was at it.

"I'll scratch her nasty face today. That pathetic b#tch," She was about to dash out but he held her wrist.

"Let me go, Rian. That pathetic woman needs a lesson on how to treat others," She wiggled in his hold but he didn't leave her.

"Shut up. This would ruin your relationship with your father because your stepmother is too smart and corrupted. She would get out of this very easily by putting the blame on mine or my mum or your head," He uttered.

Melanie went stir. He was right. Amelia was too devious and wicked. She could do anything to prove herself right and good in front of her father.

She sighed and took her arm out of his grip.

"I was hungry but that b#tch ruined my mood but now I'm again hungry,"

"Yeah when you're not? Look at your 50 kg tummy, " He taunted her, turning her eyes wide.

"F#ck you, Salvatore,"

"Hell nah. You're too ugly for that," He smirked.

Melanie narrowed her eyes and raised her fist.

"I'll cut your d#ck, wait. You a#shole," She announced, making him laugh.

"You'll fall in love with my d#ck, my doll if you ever got the chance of seeing it,"

Her eyes popped out at his obnoxious statement and her precious reaction made him laugh harder.

"You… "

Adrian ran away from there and she followed him yelling.

"Wait, you d#ckhead.  I'll choke you with your precious d#ck,"

They both were running in the corridor where their rooms were. Adrian ran inside her room and she too followed him.

Melanie was panting heavily but didn't give up.

"Aww… my doll, have you gotten tired already? That's why I was telling you to look after your basketball," He made fun of her, laughing while pushing his abdomen forward to tease her.

She gawked at him when he grabbed the donut which was placed on the table.

"And look, your crocodile appetite was again eating," He took a bite from her donut.

"Leave it, you hungry buffalo," She warned him and ran towards him.

He also stormed away. They both were circling around her bed while he was laughing and she was yelling.

"Give it back," Melanie spat but he didn't listen.

She got up on her bed to catch him and started throwing her pillows and duvet at him. He was laughing and making fun of her but the karma served him well. He tripped on the silky duvet and fell on the floor on his back.

He groaned. She hurriedly jumped off the bed and ran towards him. Melanie straddled him and sat on his waist.

"Now, Salvatore, what would you like to say?" She smirked, staring down into his green eyes.

She bowed down and whispered.

"Should I now cut your d#ck and shove it in your mouth?"

He rolled his eyes and took a bite from the donut he was still holding.

"Why, troubling my mouth? You can put my d#ck in your mouth. I don't mind, Gomez," He stated, casually.

She hitted his chest, hardly, making him groan.

"In your dreams, you b#tch. Now give me back my donut. It's mine," She uttered and tried to snatch the donut from him but he raised it high.

"Everything which is yours is mine," He grinned, making her arch her brows.

"Really? Then one day, you're going to say, I'm yours too, right, Mr Salvatore?"

He leered, ardently at her words and replied.

"No, never in my worst, Miss Gomez. Even if someday, somebody gave me the option of taking my life or to call you mine, I'll happily shoot myself in between my skull,"

She giggled at his answer and settled herself more comfortably on his waist.

"And like I am going to die to make you love me or call me yours, Salvatore,"

He furrowed and tried to push her away

"Now get off me, you rhino. You're too heavy,"

"No, I'm not getting up. Give me back my donut first," She tried to take the donut from him but he immediately licked it and shoved it in his mouth and started chewing.

"Umm.. It's not bad, Gomez,"

She looked at him, bewildered as he was eating her donut so deliciously.

"You ba#tard," She slammed her mouth over his and harshly nibbled his lower lip.

Adrian hissed and shoved her away

"You psycho," His lips turned blood red whereas her saliva was glistening on it.

He licked his lips while peering at her who was smirking, satisfyingly.

Melanie had a very bad habit of biting when she was angry, from her childhood and precisely she loved to bite this emerald eyes devil. When she was 13,she had bitten his hand so hard that his palm remained swollen for an entire day.

"That's what people get for even thinking about taking something which is only mine," She gazed at him intently and then got up.

He also got up, scowling and gave her a once and all look before dashing towards her. He shoved her on the bed and started pinching and tickling her, while hovering over her.

Melanie laughed and whimpered at the same time and tried to stop him but he had no intention of leaving and that was how their relationship was.

Their hatred, madness or whatever was between them knew no limits of uncomfortableness or shame. Melanie had never felt uneasy with his touch.

From the past 10 years, they both had become so relevant to each other's lives that they themselves had never recognised it but every person around them knew about it very well and some were totally against it, to the extent that they ripped them apart in the most cruel way a thought could never even dare to think.
