Chapter Sixteen

Torture:

Jonah was dragged into the bottom of Rowling’s ship. The darkness was overwhelming at first before his eyes adjusted. Kenton who was shoving him along seems to have this place memorised. He pushed him to the back corner of the ship and the smell hit him. It was stomach curling. The smell  was a mixture of iron, feces, and ammonia. Rowling put a hand onto his face to cover his nose but the smell didn't phase Kenton. He stumbled around looking for something. He struck a match and lit a candle. The amber glow crept into the cracks of this place. As it creeped across the small area of the ship they were in, the source of the smell was uncovered. Rowling and Kenton had designed their own pers
