"Moon goddess?"
"What is-"
"Soon you will understand what I am, right now unfortunately is not the time for that."
"I don't have time to explain everything , all I can give you is a warning, there is a storm brewing ahead and if you are anything like your father I know the world is in good hands but bare in mind that in the end a sacrifice must be made to save the world."
"What do you mean?" I didn't understand anything she was saying what storm? What sacrifice?
"How do you know my father?"
"Listen to me, you are very special you might not realize it yet but soon everything shall be revealed to you."
"But... But."
"Goodbye for now Andrea, we shall meet again soon." then she was gone just like that.
***********
I kept thinking about that lady.
"Was she the one who was saying woods" argh you should've asked her that you idiot.
I had no idea where I was going, the sun was already down. She just had to bring me back to the place this weird shit started. I kick a rock in frustration but to my dismay it hurt.
" Fuck!" I hiss.
That's when I heard the bushes rattling from right in front of me. I didn't wait to find out what was causing it I immediately changed direction and started walking, well more like running.
Why do bad things always happen to me what did I do to deserve it, because next thing I knew I tripped and fell rolling down hill.
Luckly it was not a long fall but it sure did add salt to the wound.
When I got to the up I froze when I saw what was in front of me.
They were like the huge dog I saw the other day but the colors where different these were all brown and they were fighting and by they I mean they were more than 2.
I saw one being bitten on the neck causing the blood to spray all over the over dog, and it just licked it's mouth with no care in the world.
That's when I saw something flying past me and hitting the tree right besides me when I looked I saw that one of the dogs with its tongue out and it's eyes were wide open.
I let out a silent prayer hoping this was all just a dream and not real.
When I looked back I saw that the dog that threw the other dog against the tree was watching me and he sure as heck did not look pleased.
It just continued looking at me, that's when suddenly I heard something cracking. When I looked closer I saw that something was happening to the dog.
I don't think I will ever forget what I saw next, my jaw was now hanging open.
I just saw a dog change from being a dog to being a fucking human a naked human to be precise.
Suddenly all the dogs started changing and I was standing in front of a bunch of naked men.
One started making his way towards me.
"State your name and rank."
"I-uh Andrea? I ran in high school and got 7th place does it count?"
That's when he started sniffing the air. Do I stink or something.
" She's human." he says while looking at the other men.
"What the fuck are you doing here?" he growled, he literally growled at me.
" well you see funny thing is m-"
" save it, you've seen too much, take her back to the pack, the Alpha will know what to do."
That's when I started to panic, with every step they took, I took two steps back well that was until my back hit a hard chest.
" Where do you think you are going? " when I look up I see a man with a hard expression on his face, he then grabs my arm and started dragging me to God knows where.
"Please let me go."
"I promise I won't tell anyone pl-"
"Shut up you talk too Much."
"Please I won't tell anyone, even if I did no one would believe me because trust m-" he tightens his hold on my arm.
"Ow you are hurting me." that's when we stopped and he spun me around and hoy he looked very mad, what crawled up his ass, all the words I wanted to say died in my throat.
"I thought I told you to shut the hell up."
"S-sorry."
When I looked back I saw the others changing back to dogs and they started dragging the dead ones with their mouths I wonder where they are being taken.
We continued walking I felt my leg starting to hurt I could use some painkillers right now.
" Can we please stop."
"No."
"Please I had an accident-"
"I don't care."
After a few minutes we got to a car, when he was opening the door and distracted I took the opportunity to run.
I ran for a few seconds but I fell because of the stupid painful leg.
"Darn you stupid ass leg" I started cursing it.
"Going somewhere kitten?"
"Yes away from you psycho!"
"Not with that leg you are not." he just smirks I would love to wipe that stupid smirk out of his face.
He then came towards me, I started crawling backwards.
"Will you just give it a fucking rest I'm tired and I don't have time to place cat and mouse with you kitten."
He then carried me bridal style, and then put me in the backseat. I tried to stay awake so that I could memorize the direction we were taking but I was too tired so I fell asleep.
When I woke up I was not on the soft car cushions I was sleeping on it felt like I was on a cold hard
"Floor." I was on the floor, when I looked around the room I saw that I was in a cell and here I was thinking that maybe he wasn't a bad guy.
"Ah sleeping beauty is finally awake."
"Let me go." I grit out. I tried to stand but my leg wasn't having any of it. But I wasn't giving up and this time I managed to get myself up.
I went and stood at the metal bars.
"Please let me go, I swear I won't tell anyone what I saw."
"Not this again." he grumbles.
"Please don't kill me." tears on the verge of falling.
"can't make that promise."
So there are more of these dogs living amongst us hidden, I wonder how many people they have killed and gotten away with it but I won't go down without a fight.
That's when I heard the door opening and closing, you could tell that the person who entered holds power because of the sudden change in the atmosphere.
The man I was talking to was now standing like a statue with his hands behind his back.
"Where is she?" God that voice, it was deep and husky and was like music to my ears I didn't understand why I was feeling this way.
" In here Alpha." my new friend says.
I heard foot steps with every step he took I could here him coming closer to me and I was anxious and nervous and scared.
I was looking down, that's when I saw a fancy pair of shoes, I started bringing my gaze up, he was wearing a suit and it looked like one expensive suit. He was tall and he had no ounce of fat on his body everything was muscle and toned.
When I got to his face, I couldn't look away it was like I was under his spell, everything about his face was perfect from his green eyes to his lips God his lips.
We just continued looking at each other he had a weird expression on his face I swear for a second I could have sworn I saw him smiling but then it was replaced by a scrowl on his face then he said
"MATE."
Andrea stood in front of the bathroom mirror, her hands gripping the sink as she splashed cold water on her face. She needed to clear her head, to process everything that had happened. The broken necklace, Rose's revelation, the unsettling feeling that something within her was changing—it was all too much. She took a deep breath, trying to steady her racing heart.Suddenly, a scent wafted into the bathroom, cutting through her thoughts like a knife. It was a rich, intoxicating aroma, sweet and familiar—strawberries mingled with something deeper, muskier. Her heart skipped a beat, and her senses sharpened as the scent enveloped her.Mate. She sounds in her mind confused as to why she thought of saying that word. The word echoed in her mind, bringing with it a rush of emotions she couldn't comprehend. Her knees wobbled, and she gripped the sink tighter, her breath coming in shallow gasps. She knew that scent, had dreamed of it in restless nights, but it was stronger now, undeniable and
Andrea wandered through the bustling courtyard of the pack house, her thoughts preoccupied with the revelations of the past days. The sun was setting, casting long shadows across the cobblestones and painting the sky with hues of pink and orange. She absentmindedly fingered the necklace her father had given her, the one that seemed to hold so many unanswered questions. The necklace had always provided her with a sense of comfort and security, a connection to her past. As she rounded the corner, Andrea found herself face-to-face with Sandra and her entourage. Sandra, with her perfectly coiffed hair and cold, piercing eyes, regarded Andrea with thinly veiled disdain. The atmosphere grew tense, the air crackling with an undercurrent of hostility. Andrea had known Sandra's type well—privileged, entitled, and always ready to belittle others to make themselves feel superior. "Well, well, if it isn't the Luna," Sandra sneered, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "What are you doing here al
Andrea stood frozen in the doorway, her heart pounding painfully in her chest. Logan's study, once a place of potential resolution, now felt like a trap of disappointment and betrayal. Jess's presence on his lap was a stark reminder of everything Andrea had hoped wasn't true.Logan's eyes darted from Andrea to Jess and back, his expression unreadable but guarded. He didn't move to disentangle himself from Jess's embrace, nor did he offer any explanation or apology for what Andrea had walked in on. His silence only deepened the wound in Andrea's heart.Jess, on the other hand, smirked knowingly at Andrea, as if relishing the discomfort she caused. "Looks like you caught us at a bad time," she purred, her voice dripping with sarcasm.Andrea clenched her fists, fighting to keep her voice steady despite the turmoil raging within her. "I came here to talk to Logan," she said, her words tinged with bitterness. "But it seems he's busy."Logan's jaw tightened imperceptibly, a flicker of guilt
Andrea stood in the dimly lit study of the main house, facing Logan with a mixture of confusion and frustration. The air between them crackled with tension, each moment stretching taut as she awaited his answer."Why do you hate me so much, Logan?" Andrea's voice quivered slightly, betraying the emotions swirling within her. "What did I ever do to you?"Logan remained silent for a long moment, his jaw clenched as he stared at her with intensity. The weight of her question hung heavy in the air, and Andrea could almost feel the turmoil churning beneath his stoic exterior."You don't know anything about your father, Andrea," Logan finally spoke, his voice low and tinged with bitterness. "You have no idea what he's done."Andrea's brows furrowed in confusion. "What are you talking about? My father is-was a good man. He would never hurt anyone."Logan's eyes flashed with anger, his restraint slipping slightly. "Your father is the reason I lost my parents," he gritted out, each word laced
Andrea woke with a start, the echo of the mysterious figure and the haunting voice still lingering in her mind. The forest clearing and the river seemed like a distant dream now, but the urgency to unravel the mysteries of her past remained. She needed answers, and she needed them soon.Slipping out of bed, Andrea dressed quickly, her mind racing with fragments of memories and unanswered questions. The necklace, still faintly glowing, felt heavy against her chest as if it, too, held secrets waiting to be uncovered. She made her way downstairs quietly, avoiding the bustling kitchen where Rose was likely preparing breakfast. Instead, she sought solace in the library, a sanctuary of knowledge and quiet contemplation within the main house. The shelves were lined with ancient tomes and volumes on supernatural lore, each holding a promise of insight into the world beyond human understanding. Andrea pulled out a dusty book on werewolf mythology, flipping through its pages in search of any me
Andrea lay in bed, her mind unable to find peace. The weight of the day’s revelations bore down on her, and exhaustion eventually pulled her into a restless sleep. Her dreams carried her back to a time she had long tried to forget—a time when a woman once visited their home.---The living room of Andrea’s childhood home was filled with the warm, comforting glow of the fireplace. She was no more than seven years old, playing with her dolls on the soft carpet while the aroma of her father’s cooking wafted from the kitchen. It was a scene of domestic tranquility, yet a storm was brewing just beneath the surface.Andrea’s father, Jonathan, stood by the window, his face a mask of concern. A woman named Evelyn, entered the room, her movements tense and her expression strained. Andrea, sensing the change in the atmosphere, looked up from her playthings, her young mind alert to the undercurrents of distress in the air.The woman came to her and picked her up.“You look so much like your gran
