Sad, but in vain

Alex was freaking out.

Dad was as calm as possible for an old man with wisdom.

I on the other hand was stuck with Nick who couldn't stop teasing me every living second of my day today. Sunday was supposed to be mine, but Nick manages to ruin everything for me. Swiftly turning around my heel— leaving the pot to handle itself with its ingredients— I stomp on his very foot. He cries in pain, and Dad thinks it was just a silly fight between siblings.

"Stop touching my butt!" The seethe comes in a whisper-shout technique, too low for our dad to hear us while Louis throws a look at us. He was the main chef preparing the dinner anyway. It was seven in the evening.

"I have been deprived. You were away and it's not either our fault." I squint my eyes and gather more anger into my eyes, hoping it'll blast him to pieces right away.

"Stay away from me if you want your head intact, Nick." I show the knife to him, but the nerdy psycho just giggles while his brother tackles him in a bro hug from b
