“Wake up, girl! I need to get you ready!” The voice pushes through the fog that's surrounding my head right now. I struggle to open my eyes, but the lights in the room almost blind me.“What-what?” I stutter out, licking my lips, trying to make my mouth not dry. It feels like I swallowed cotton balls. My lungs won't pull in enough air as I attempt to open my eyes again, only to squeeze them tight as the pain rushes through my skull.“Get up! We don't have much time! You're due on stage soon!” The woman's voice snaps as I feel nails digging into my arms before she is pulling me off my feet. As soon as she has me in a standing position, my knees become weak, and I fall on the ground hard. The women didn't even bother to catch me.“What's happening” I groan out, trying to steady myself on the floor before attempting to stand up.Did I go to a party last night? A club? Was I out drinking with friends?Wait.Do I even have any friends?I can't remember anything right now. Everything is jus
Okay Aria don't freeze, don't panic is what I tell myself over and over inside my head, just because you don't remember anything does mean nothing, I'm sure you have done this plenty of times throughout your modeling career. I just need to stand here, look pretty, and smile. How hard can that be?The lights are so bright in this room that I'm having a hard time looking around, but what I do see is myself in every single glass wall I look at. That's pretty cool. The models get to see themselves work.I plaster a fake smile on my face and do a slow turn, making sure I face each window for a few seconds before turning to the next, I think I'm doing a fantastic job with what I'm working with, and right now, that isn't much at all. “RAISE YOUR ARMS!” A deep male voice growls through the room, scaring the crap out of me, I turn and look throughout the room, and I see in several of the corners they have a speaker-looking box. That's cool, lets the photographer's talk with the models to let
My head smashes into something hard causing me to slowly open my eyes, I look up and see trees passing by in a rush, groaning softly, I gently raise my head to look around, and I see that we are in a car, not a car but a limousine. It's long, and I look around seeing soft lights on the top of it, and my eyes lock onto movement on the right side of the long seat. What's going on?I reach out and grab onto the seat beside me, pulling myself up and bringing my other hand to hold my head."You are awake” comes a deep growling voice somewhere close to me, I jerk my head up looking around for the source of the voice, and see a man sitting in the middle of the back seat, legs stretched out with a drink in his head looking down at me.Is he taking me home? Why am I on the floor?I pull myself into a sitting position and lean my side against the left side against the seat to try to stabilize my body, I feel like I was drugged. Nothing wants to work properly.Who is this man?“Ye-yes” I clear m
We are sitting in silence now, his eyes never leaving mine, and I try my best not to make eye contact with him, I would rather not do anything to set him off. We have been driving since I don't know how long now, I know for sure we were driving for about 35 minutes, but that's only a guess. That's what it feels like anyway, I don't even know how fucking long I was asleep before that.Suddenly, the glass that's separating us and the drives slides down, and a rasping voice fills the back of the limousine. “We are almost to the airport, sir” before the driver raises it back up.Airport? Where are we going?I want to ask, but I'm so fucking scared to open my mouth again, what if he kills me? What if he hits me again? I don't think my body can take much more right now, it feels like I'm about to pass out from how weak I am, and right now with this man, that will not be a good thing.“Speak!” The man with the tattoos says, making me jump, and I look up at him, making sure he is not about to
The plane ride has been nothing but silent the past hour or so. The man with the tattoos walked back up the aisle and sat down next to me but didn't talk, just stared. I can feel his eyes digging into my skin, Rowan is sitting in the front snoring, how in the world could he have even fallen asleep? I don't remember ever being on a plane before, and all I can think about is it crashing down, but if it does, that would be the end of this mess.I so don't understand what's going to happen to me, he doesn't seem like the type of guy that would need to pay for a woman just for sex, I mean his pretty damn hot, like one kiss from him will set you a fire. So, why did he even go to that auction to begin with? Surely, he isn't lacking in female company.I mean, if he and I had met in a different situation, I would have been all too happy to give this man a shot. That's how good-looking he is.I try my best to keep my eyes straight forward, but it's hard, I just want to know exactly what he ex
We have been on this plane for what seems like being hours. We are somewhere over the ocean now. I don't know, nor do I learn how much longer we will be. After Ghost came to tell me if I did not eat, he would choke me with the food, I decided I needed to maintain my strength up in case I ever got the chance to run. I sat and ate my meal and hated every minute of it, but I kept on forcing my stomach to take more than I noticed Ghost would continue turning around with those cold eyes squinting on me before looking down at my plate. He hasn't said another word to me and when that girl came down the aisle again to give me my next meal I did not say a a sound to her, just watched as she fixed my plate up like I was some type of princess or something, and it was her job to serve me. I felt bad for fussing with her when she pretended not to notice what was going on. I just don't know whether she deserved my anger or not.I wonder what Ghost does to own a private island along with this plan
I must have dozed off, since I'm being jolted awake as the jet experiences bumps. Looking out the plane window, I notice we are flying over an island. I'm pretty certain this is my new home. I'll admit it's lovely. It seems like somewhere I'd like to vacation, with the crystal clear blue sea, white sand beach, trees, and flowers of various colors. Just not like this, not as a sex slave for a man. Speaking of men who kidnap women. Ghost said nothing to me after that; he just kept his hand on my thigh, reclined back in his seat, and closed his eyes. It took me a while to fall asleep, since the last thing he said kept replaying in my thoughts. “It's just the plane getting ready to land.” He muttered, his eyes still closed. “Oh.” I tell him, without looking out the window, I had kind of figured that out on my own. “It's gorgeous here.” “Our home is beautiful. I agree. I paid a damn fortune for it.” He grunted, opening his eyes and looks down at me. “I was talking about the water and
For several minutes, we have been standing here waiting for his security team to check out the area. Whatever the heck that means. I don't even care. I am ready to get my feet back on the ground. I dislike flying. At least I notice that much of myself. The sadness hits me again. I don't know much about myself. I realize my father is the reason that I was taken away and sold, but that's it. Oh, and my name, I know my name thanks to Ghost. It's Aria, I kind of like it. It's a pretty name.Ghost's hand stayed in the same spot, attached to my arm and showing no sign at all of being ready to let me go. He doesn't need to worry. I'm not going to go off screaming onto an island, at least not until it's been checked.I'm not crazy.Or am I?I don't remember.I'm staring out of the nearest window, and all I see are trees, sand, flowers, and water right now. I mean, he is so worried about me running away that he stayed holding my arm. It's not like I can swim miles in the ocean, or drive th
