Nicholas stared at her without showing his excited emotions of seeing her. He couldn't stop wanting her after she left yesterday and he wanted to stop. He tried warding it off as he felt it's because she was good enough to satisfy him.

However he didn't think he would be wanting her that badly so he wanted to see her. He only told someone to do a background check on her today before leaving home in the morning. He could not stop his longing desire to be with her.

He wanted more of her, he was satisfied before but he kept wanting to see her again. He usually doesn't see a girl twice and he only does this once a month. He has been getting different girls for a long time.

Now he's wanting another girl that he doesn't even know what she is about? After finishing the meeting, he decided to go home and relax. On his way, his driver almost collided into another car. They both avoided each other but the other car crashed into a wall.

It was a narrow road that barely has people. It contained two passing vehicles if they're careful not to run into each other. But both drivers made a mistake this time around.

"I'm sorry boss! I am so sorry!" The driver, Tim apologized.

"Stop." He ordered the driver who wanted to drive away. "Wait for five minutes, if the person doesn't come out, you can call for an ambulance."

"Boss, should I just check on the other person?" His assistant Edwin asked.

"You should..." Nicholas wanted to say when they saw the door open.

That's not what got him surprised, the person who came out is the same girl he has been trying to contact again. He smirked on seeing her come towards his car. She was bleeding, but she looked like she has enough strength.

She went over to the side where Nicholas is sitting down. He is surprised that she could guess there's someone else in the car even though you can't see the inside from outside. She must be very smart.

He saw her demanding he opened the door, he smirked and whined down the glass. She is shocked to see him. He didn't act like he has seen her before.

"Wait... You..." She wanted to say but her head hurts.

Nicholas's assistant Edwin came out of the car to attend to Rose.

"Miss, we are sorry for the inconvenience. You both are at fault but if you want, we can settle this. We can offer you a compensation and pay for the hospital fees since you are injured." Edwin explained.

However, Rose only has her eyes on one person. Why is he not looking her way? Why is he pretending not to know who she is? She is more confused if this is the same man she knows or not.

This is Nicholas King. The next client she's supposed to work on. How is she supposed to do this if he's not even looking at her. There's no way she could be wrong about his face. She is good at remembering faces especially if it's just yesterday they met.

But why won't he even look at her once? Could it be that he really wants nothing to do with her?

"Miss! Miss are you listening?" Edwin asked confused as she didn't say anything.

"Excuse me? Don't you know who I am?" She turned to Nicholas with curiousity.

"Edwin finish this quickly and let's leave. She seems to be in a good condition so there's no need to call an ambulance." Nicholas ignored her and talked to Edwin instead.

Is he really going to pretend he does not know her? How is she supposed to get closer to him if he won't even consider her once? She thought about what she can do nd finally saw she has no choice but to force her way in. At least she needs to know what kind of situation she is getting herself into.

"You're really going to pretend you don't know me after all we did together?" She started with her acting.

Edwin is confused as he has never seen this girl around his boss before.

"What are you talking about miss? Did you hurt your head that much?" He asked her.

She scoffed, "After what we did? We..."

Edwin and the driver anticipated what she wanted to say but she didn't say anything. As blood trickled down her face, she touched it and her eyes widened on seeing it. She suddenly fainted, Edwin caught her. Another car stopped behind them.

James and some men came out of the car and rushed towards them. Nicholas sneered, he didn't seem to be affected by it.

"What is going on here? Why did you stop..." James stopped on seeing who it is. "This woman... What is she doing here?"

"You know her?" Edwin questioned in confusion.

"Well... I only met her yesterday after..." He stopped talking when he looked at Nicholas, "What on earth happened here?"

"Boss what do we do? Should I take her to the hospital?" Edwin asked Nicholas.

They waited for the order from Nicholas who won't stop staring at the woman's face. There's no way you won't stare at her too. She is a very beautiful woman.

"Take her into the car. We'll take her with us." Nicholas ordered.

"Yes boss!" Edwin and James said before they realized what he said, "What?"

"Did you not understand what I said or should I tell you what I mean?" He replied with a blank expression.

They didn't need to be told twice before they quickly carried her into the other car. They helped her lock her car without searching it and took the key with them. They drove off all the way to his residence which is a very large area of land.

The place is called the king's Villa. He has a very large mansion with large areas of lands, a river and many other buildings. He is considered one of the most powerful and wealthiest men in the world. Rose just doesn't know this yet.

The car stopped at the garage and Nicholas came down. James and Edwin rushed to him for the next order.

"What should we do with her boss?" James asked him.

Nicholas nodded, "Take her to the room first, then I'll think of what to do later."

James and Edwin looked at each other. It's like they are hearing the wrong things from their boss because he would never do something like this.

"Your room? Boss are you serious with this?" James asked confused.

"Are you an imposter? This is definitely not our boss!" Edwin fired at Nicholas.

Nicholas arched a brow, then checked the time.

"You have one minute to get to my room. I must not get there before you or you'll be making your last call today." Nicholas threatened them and walked away.

"It is really him. One minute? We're doomed!" They both rushed to get Rose out of the car and James carried her in his arms.

On getting inside the main house, they took the employee elevator since there's a different one for the boss. It's a transparent elevator so they can see from the inside.

They saw him going up and they wished the elevator would just move faster. They elevator finally stopped and they rushed outside and made their way towards his room. They saw Nicholas going in another direction and they quickly rushed her into the room.

They laid her on the bed while she is still unconscious. They looked at each other and sighed in relief.

"I can't believe I almost lost my head because of her. This is the first time this is happening. Boss is bringing a woman home?" Edwin asked looking at Rose.

"I can't believe he met her again. I always knew there's something about her that just gives off the wrong vibes." James replied, suspiciously looking at Rose.

Edwin looked at Rose, "What do you mean he met her again? Have they met before today?"

"She's the girl boss had yesterday... You understand."

Edwin gasped, "Wait, he brought a girl like that home when he's never done that before? What do you think is going on?"

"Is he bewitched?" They asked each other.

"I wonder too." They heard a familiar voice behind them and froze.

They completely forgot Nicholas would be coming into the room. They didn't realize he had been standing behind them for a while now. They both slowly turned to see the deadly expression of their boss.

"Boss! We..."

He used the book he was holding to hit their head. "you both are stupid and can't think at all. You brought a wounded person here, shouldn't you be treating her instead of gossiping about her."

They both looked at each other, "Sorry boss."

They both rushed to get the first aid kit while Nicholas took a seat on the couch looking at the book he is holding. He shook his head seeing the chaotic duo and their clumsiness.

They finally treated her wound and stood up waiting for the next order from their boss.

"Boss, what should we do next?" They asked.

Nicholas gave them a glare, they looked away.

"You can get out of the room." He told them after a while of leaving them hanging.

Edwin gasped for the umpteenth time, wondering what would happen if they left the room.

"Boss, you mean we should go? We should leave you alone with her in the room." James asked like an idiot.

Nicholas sighed in frustration, "Then should I show you a live porn? Since you have a lot of things going on in your head."

"No boss! We will leave now. Let's go James!" Edwin dragged James out of the room. They shut the door behind them.

Nicholas dropped the book as soon as they left. He focused on Rose, his eyes not leaving her. He ended up smirking, amused at how she could hold it in like that.

"You are one amusing girl. I've never seen someone being so bold in the hands of a stranger." He said loudly for her to hear.

She didn't move or blink. She seemed to be really unconscious.

"I know you are awake. Your eyes are twitching and so is your nose. You should do a better job at pretending. You can stop now. Open your eyes, they are gone." He said to her.

Her eyes fluttered open a few seconds later. She sat up on the bed.

"Wow. You are incredible. Most people don't know this but you are sure smart." Rose said smiling at him.

She was busted. She has been listening to everything that was happening since and tried her best not to show that she was awake. How did he know that?
