Rowan’s Pov,

Disturbed, Waylen was looking out of the window instead of checking the trad files. It’s been a week. He didn’t report about the spy. I thought three days would suffice. He threw the file on the sofa, gritting his teeth, and dashed out of the room.

“Stop.” He signed deeply, gripping the handle of the door. His silence had a distinct language. 

“Have you fought with Laura again?” His mood soured. They are the weirdest couple I have ever seen. They fight regularly. He was just staring at the floor constantly.

“Sit down and blurt it out.” I walked to the sofa, waiting for him to have a seat.
