Aylin’s Pov,
How breathetaking it is! I wish I could stay; or see it from a closer distance. I relaxed over the window, cherishing the cluster of twinkling lights from far as they were fighting the darkness of the vicious forest. Even the sky was clear, radiating the elegance of the moon sheltering the kingdom of our night creatures.
They were the lights coming from one of the closest pack. It was in deep woods between the valleys, where three mountains intersect near the gorgeous ranges of the waterfall. Aquadrian river showered a lot of bliss on them. The shining lights give me moral support to push one more day in this prison.
I consider myself quite fortunate; at least I could see magnificent scenery from my room. The palace of the werewolf king builds over the top of the highest mountain of the Avaline ranges.
Calmness rules my heart when I see them every night intersecting the obscurity of the forest to reach me. I always felt they were apprising me to be braver. Encouraging me to have fate in the moon goddess.
I wondered how it could be in the pack. Many people around as your family, chatting with them, working, sharing responsibilities. I can bet it must be wonderful to feel.
Sometimes, I even get envious of other wolves who live there together with their family, with their loved ones, and their mates. I never dream about something, which never be, nor I could turn it reality.
I was the only princess of werewolves, a simple human. I was stillborn as a wolf. My father was embarrassed by it. He even announced I was born dead. No one outside the palace knows about my existence, nor may I go out.
But, I have visited the outside a few times with the help of Tae. She is my head maid. She is nothing less than a mother to me. I don’t know, affection of mother but it must be the same as the love of Tae for me.
I got up to open the window, growing rather restless. The view wasn’t enough for me. My raven black hairs drifted back from my shoulder as the crisp breeze of blooming winter entered the room, spreading happiness all over.
I moved my tips of fingers, holding my hand a little higher; to divert the flow of air and wind flowing inside my room with more increased intensity, making the curtain dance with them.
The smell of water fragrance with lotus from the mountain range filled my lungs. They were soothing on my wounded heart with a subtle blow, causing me to smile, closing my eyes.
I was born wolfless, but still was gifted with few powers. I could control the flow of natural elements, but and haven’t got full control over them. The Moon goddess also has gifted me one more special power.
I can touch silver, which no werewolf or vampire could. A cut from a silver knife can kill. I heard the screeching sound of the door, and it opened slowly, making me turn.
“Princess Aylin, close the window. Winter is on the way.” Tae scolded me in her strident voice as soon as she entered my room, holding a tray of dinner in her hands while narrowing her eyes.
She was wearing her usual dress code of a long brown colored dress with a white apron around her waist. She also had a batch of shining gold wolf on her shoulder, which states that she was the palace’s special staff.
“Tae, I will. Just give a few more minutes, please.” I excused myself and took a step towards the window, turning my head away from her. Her forehead was creased hearing my words, and she put the dinner over the table.
“You will get sick. You don’t have thicker skin. Do it now.” She put her both hands over her waist, trying to glare at me. I could see the worry in her concerned eyes.
Humans don’t have thicker skin like werewolves, so I don’t. I’m the only human in the entire kingdom of night creatures. I have read in records of the palace, to maintain peace between humans and night creatures, the moon goddess created dimensional isolation so no one can cross that barrier until some specific night comes.
When I didn’t move, she came forward and closed the window, blocking the enchanting fragrance of the waterfall, but I was still smiling, watching the lights from the glass of the window.
“How long will you stare at them? Come and have dinner.” Tae walked towards the small dining table which was placed near the balcony opposite the bed. She started arranging the dishes on the table.
“You know me. I really enjoy watching them.” After signing in defeat, I took a seat facing the balcony at the dinner table. I don’t want her to scold me while I watch such serene mountains.
“Yes, I know.” She smiled at the bowl of soup while serving me. She had again prepared a few dishes, according to my liking.
“Has my father asked about me?” While drinking the soup, I questioned involuntarily. I looked up when I didn’t hear any answer from her. I felt guilty at her silence.
Her eyelids were lowered, and face was saddened. She was answering me using no words. She continued to fill my plate with other delicacies, as she didn’t hear me.
“He did not. I should have known about it.” I said, and I pushed a spoon inside my mouth, forcing myself to drink the soup. My father has never met me often. He never entered my room to see me.
I am sure he will have his reasons to hate me, but I can’t stop loving him or expecting him to meet me more, chat day and night about how his day went.
“His Highness is terribly busy; There is a political tension with vampire.” She reasons with me, a new day, a new excuse to save her King.
Her tone was consoling and soft. She caressed my hair gingerly with her hands. It’s been my habit to ask about him and hear her excuses.
He is the King. There is no time to see me. He has an extreme workload to handle. Occasionally, I thought maybe he was angry because my mother died because of me.
He, too, had suffered a tremendous loss. He lost his mate, and perhaps that pain stopped him from visiting me.
“What is happening with the vampire issue?” I asked, cutting the meat in silence, and changed the topic. She sat beside me, filling the glass of wine for both of us.
“I don’t have exact information about it, but I have heard some rumors.” She said, glancing at the closed door of the balcony. It must have been serious; otherwise, her face won’t be ashen when I asked her this question.
“I heard two worriers talking in the throne’s chamber while I was returning to your room after collecting some fresh flowers from the garden.”
“They were talking about vampires rebelled against the vampire king and left their kingdom.” She took a heavy breath and took a sip of wine, shaking her head in disbelief.
I was surprised, vampires had never done that before. There must be a potent reason. Otherwise, they won’t be daring to rebel against their own king.
“Why did they rebel?” I asked, while taking a bite from my plate.
“I don’t know.” She said, glancing down at her hands, closing her eyes. She was affected by these political changes. The suituation was indeed worrisome. She had never been worried about consent before.
“Don’t worry Tae.” I rubbed her shoulders, forcing a tight-lipped smile. Her family lives nearby border of both kingdoms.
“I think it will lead to war.” She clasped my hand, and my breath hitched.

The subtle smell of flowers lingered with a known soothing fragrance filled me, wanting to melt more than I was. A soft smile crept over my lips as something wet brushed over my cheeks, and it roamed all over my face.“Love…. Love…. Get up. You’re sleeping for a while.” Rowan bit down on my earlobe, forcing me to get up. I opened my eyes to see his full blossomed smile and my green captivating world was watching me with all the tenderness in this universe.“It’s nice to see you smile.” He bent down and nibbled my mouth. I pulled him over me, roaming my hands in his hair while giggling in our kiss. His tongue was quite curious and left no place, which didn’t explo
Chapter 64: A Choice To Choose My world shattered, watching the crimson red liquid oozing out of his shoulder. He held my shaking hand in his hand and pressed it over his chest, giving me a tight-lipped smile. His heart was beating softly under my palm, but it scared me. He was watching me as if he wanted me to remember it. “Please, don’t do this. I just found you again.” He brought my head to rest over his forehead, removing the pearls he hated watching in my eyes. “I am really sorry, my Aylin.” Something was touring in me. He hugged me on my lap. I could hear the troops ripping the Silas apart, his painful screams were thundering the walls of the palace, but it gave me no hope ahead. “You have no right to leave me.” The thought of being without him turned my

It drenched my thirsty throat, seeping its warmth until it reached my heart, but he was nowhere to see. Chapter 62: A Wait To Hear His RoarAylin’s Pov,The vibration emerging from the floor erupting a painful impulse throughout my head, bringing me out from the deep blackness where I was trapped for two days. I coughed loud as the dirt molecules from the floor entered my system with inhalation forcing me to open my eyes. My head was pounding hard with the dizziness still controlling me.A dark room welcomed me with the bone chilling coldness surrounding me everywhere. Only the narrow window over the wall gave me the strength to keep breathing, to wait for my Rowan. My hands and legs were tied with chains, restricting my movements to reach the door of the cellar. The realization passed over me, my stubbornness to go to visit the shrine with my aunt, her death, and the injury of Orson ran through my mind. A drop of tear rolled down imagining the situation of my Rowan when he found out I was taken aw
Chapter 61: In Absence of Her“Do you think he killed Tremor?” Waylen asked while taking a seat in the hall in front of the elders. Completing my aunt’s funeral, I ordered everyone to gather to listen to my final decision on his betrayal of Silas. Bastard not only betrayed us but also took the entire three battalions with him.“It doesn’t matter anymore. She has a piece of the moon goddess’s soul in her that wasn’t hidden from him. Even if he killed Tremor, his main motives must be directed toward gaining more energy.”“She is the purest source of energy present in this entire universe. There are high chances his mind wanders around it, but for this, he has to perform a difficult ritual.” Orson landed from the light, closing his eyes in distress. The veins in my brain were pounding hard, daring to burst at any moment, her absence digging a hole in me and
Chapter 60: A Distressed HeartRowan’s pov,I forced myself to open another file, but my constant efforts to distract my mind were failing me miserably. After throwing it aside and walking to the bar section of my new office, the moment she asked me to join the shrine with my aunt, my heart wasn’t at ease. I wasn’t intending to trap her here, but my heart would be at least calmer. Her absence made everything difficult for me. I consoled my heart. She returns in hours while gulping down a few bottles of whiskey.I held the glass on the table tighter as it vibrated mildly and the lights in the office accompanied them while flickering with great intensity. The stuttering sound of furniture amplified, making me hold the edge of the table. Before I could think anything further, a blinding blue light swallowed the office. I held my hand in front of my eyes, struggling to see in front me.
