Chapter 1834 The Manifestation Has a Reaction

Author: Night Eleven
After Feran finished speaking, he picked up his laptop and headed straight to his office.

Moments ago, Feran sensed a disturbing instability within the Sacrificial Offering Manifestation—an abnormal occurrence. In all his years, he had known the manifestation's immense power.

Quickening his pace, Feran reached his office, where Asher stood waiting, and opened the door for him.

Once inside, Feran instructed Asher before closing the door, "Guard the door. If anyone comes asking for me, tell them I'm taking an afternoon nap."

Asher nodded. "Understood, Mr. Maynard. I'll stay here and make sure no one goes inside."

Although Asher knew this was no longer the Feran he once served, he kept silent for the sake of his future.

Feran swiftly retrieved the statue from the cabinet. When he unwrapped the red cloth, he discovered fine cracks along the statue's leg.

He gasped softly. "The manifestation is fracturing."

Farshya? Was it where Aria came from? Landon had never heard of this country before. But it didn't hinder his understanding. Judging from her train of thought, Farshya was likely this very place, just by a different name.Landon had been observing her all this time. If the world they stood in was truly a vast Earthbound Manifestation, then she must have come from the far future. He could sense it in her words.Even so, Landon had no intention of letting her go.He lightly rubbed his fingertips as if savoring the ghost of her touch. Glancing at Aria, a thick, hidden emotion slowly morphed into something else.Aria's focus remained fixed on Metyssara's head. Clues that had reached dead ends in the real world might be solved with ease in the manifestation.Paying no heed to the other sects' reactions, Aria dragged Metyssara closer and whispered, "I'll spare your life and send you back to your country if you tell me where Sylas' soul fragment is."Metyssara had revealed its true form

It was Landon, in his adult form. But before Aria noticed his touch, she noticed his unique scent. It was a pleasant scent of sandalwood—crisp, cool, yet indifferent. Just like Landon, it gave off a sense of austerity like the peak of a mountain, as if it could freeze everything in place. Yet his embrace was anything but cold. Heat seeped through her body when his fingers brushed the tip of her ear.His other hand gripped her wrist and pulled her into his arms as he shot Philip a warning glare.Aria barely registered any of this. All she could feel was his cool touch; everything else faded into nothingness. His presence, his scent, his touch—he filled every sense. His deep voice resonated against the sensitive spot behind her ear—a place no ordinary person would have known. His closeness made her shiver. His fingers traced her neck, pulling her tighter against him. He smiled faintly, keeping to his guise. "Miss, the closer you get and the deeper you listen, the easier it is to b

Upon hearing that, the Cerulean Dragon stirred. Perhaps it had misheard, but why did it feel as if Aria's words were directed at Landon? Did she mean that Landon was being unfair? The Cerulean Dragon glanced at Aria before turning back to Landon. What did Landon mean by that? Yet, Landon's handsome face remained unfazed. In fact, the comment about him being old seemed to bother him more. Aria's words had exposed the Suncrest Sect's final secret. The sect was undeniably responsible, allowing someone like Sylas to remain hidden in the mountains, serving even as their acting sect leader without discovery. After all, any decision made by the Suncrest Sect also represented the collective will of the other sects. The fact that such a sinister figure held power over them all sent a chill down everyone's spine. A rogue arcane seeker spoke up. "Don't let him off. He hid in the Suncrest Sect for so many years. Who knows which sect he'll sneak into next? He must take responsibility for c
