Chapter 2: "Who... who... who are you?"

Roxana Nelson obediently ate her meal, her mind wandering as she asked, "Why hasn't Joseph returned?"

"He's busy with work. Let's go swimming!" came the reply.

Roxana Nelson nearly choked on her food in shock.

"But I don't know how to swim. What do I do now?"

"If you don't know how to swim, don't swim. Just stand by the pool and watch me swim."

"Haha, alright then! I'll follow along," Roxana Nelson said, relieved. Who said she was an honored guest now, having just donated five hundred thousand? Finally, she managed to solve the urgent matter. But that wasn't a good solution either.

The two entered the most luxurious swimming pool, which belonged to Hannah's family, so she must know it well.

Everyone here was wealthy, with no shortage of handsome men and beautiful women. Of course, there were also attractive men and beautiful women in pairs. Hannah often brought her mother here to swim.

The supervisor greeted them as they entered the entrance, "Miss, everything as usual?"

"Yes."

The supervisor immediately hurried off to make preparations.

Roxana Nelson opened her eyes wide, taking in the splendor of this place. "Is this your family's property?" she asked.

"Don't look anymore; let's go in. The supervisor will help us with the swimwear." Hannah pulled Roxana Nelson inside.

Knowing nothing, Roxana Nelson had to follow closely. This place was so big! She felt a little scared and uneasy on her first visit. Roxana Nelson was being dragged by Hannah, looking around with a naive expression, resembling Mrs. Liu entering the mansion of a prominent official.

Groups of five or three people were swimming by the side of the blue pool. This swimming pool was even more beautiful than the national swimming center!

"See? We'll change over there! That's my private changing room." Hannah pointed to the right door.

Roxana Nelson nodded, "Should we go now?"

"Yes, follow me!" Hannah turned around and immediately noticed a tall stranger walking towards the door, his bright eyes filled with mischief. "Hurry up; I'm dying to swim; let's go!"

Glancing at the handsome man who had just entered the VIP changing room, Hannah smiled triumphantly. Roxana Nelson was indeed a lucky fool. She would stun everyone when she put on her bikini in a while. She understood Roxana Nelson's figure very well; it would undoubtedly attract the attention of everyone. To put it slightly exaggeratedly, it could even be compared to the sexy girls in Europe.

First, she would attract the handsome man and then a crowd of people...

The two entered the changing room.

Hannah wore the latest fashion bikini, and naturally, Roxana Nelson was also forced to wear one by Hannah.

Wearing a bikini for the first time, Roxana Nelson felt embarrassed as she walked out of the changing room, her face red as a monkey's butt. "Hannah, I feel like I'm not wearing anything in this little piece of cloth."

Hannah, upon hearing this, burst into laughter. "I'm sorry, do you still want to wear cotton clothes at the swimming pool?"

"But this bikini looks like a handkerchief. How can I go out like this?" Roxana Nelson stared intently at her tiny swimwear. She leaned against the changing room door, not daring to move forward.

"If you don't listen, then I can't help you. Even if the business partner who helps my father is well-intentioned, they won't help the orphanage anymore. Perhaps they'll donate the money to African refugees!"

"Alright, I'll listen, I'll listen!" Roxana Nelson immediately put on a smile.

"Then go out!"

Roxana Nelson reluctantly followed Hannah outside to the swimming pool.

Suddenly, Hannah stopped and glanced at Roxana Nelson's hair. "Let me help you fix your hair."

While speaking, she fixed a few strands of her bangs.

"The greatest advantage you have is your beautiful figure! And your eyes are very sparkling, but unfortunately, they're covered by glasses." Hannah took off the glasses as she spoke, revealing her petite, gentle face in front of Roxana Nelson. Her large, bright, and captivating eyes could enchant many people.

Satisfied with Roxana Nelson's current appearance, Hannah nodded and said, "Oh! Looking at your beauty, all the men will go crazy!"

"What? I can't see anything. Hannah, I'm more than eight degrees nearsighted. I can't survive a day without glasses. Hurry, give them to me!" Roxana Nelson was on the verge of tears.

"If a blind person can't see the light for their whole life, you can experience half a day of a blind person's life!" Hannah held Roxana Nelson's hand and led her to a spot five feet from the pool. "Wait here momentarily; I'll put away the glasses."

Hannah glanced at a tall figure not far away as if looking at Roxana Nelson; her eyes paused momentarily. Hannah was pleased as she walked into the changing room with the glasses.

Roxana Nelson opened her eyes wide, looking at a blurry space ahead, where everything was vast and indistinct. She could only hear the sound of swimming in the pool. Her large, bright eyes searched for Hannah's figure, full of charm and unawareness.

"Do you need any help, Miss?" A low and pleasant voice struck up a conversation with her.

It was a man! But she couldn't see his face clearly, just sensing a tall figure beside her.

Roxana Nelson's face immediately blushed, feeling embarrassed to converse with a man dressed so scantily. Nervously fidgeting her hands together, she replied, "Thank you! I'm waiting for someone."

"Oh! Your eyesight isn't good, is it?" he asked again.

Hearing that, Roxana Nelson whispered to herself, "Let him think I'm blind; it doesn't make much difference since I'm practically blind compared to a visually impaired person!"

She pursed her small, rosy lips, despising when others called her blind, even though Hannah said wearing glasses was just over eight diopters, which wasn't much different from being blind. Without glasses, she was still half-blind. Even if it was true, she hated it when others mentioned her poor eyesight. But she still felt uncomfortable deep inside.

"Ha ha!" His deep laughter reverberated in Roxana Nelson's sensitive ears. This man must be highly handsome; even his laughter was enchanting. Roxana Nelson thought to herself, her face turning even redder.

That man had a perfect appearance, a muscular physique not inferior to a male supermodel, with no excess anywhere on his body. He stood there, wearing square-shaped swim trunks, gazing intently at Roxana Nelson's blushing face.

As Hannah walked out, she witnessed an interesting scene: Roxana Nelson standing in embarrassment with a tall and unfamiliar man— the same person she saw earlier, seemingly engaged in a conversation.

Seeing Hannah come out, he furrowed his brow and hastily said to Roxana Nelson, "Beauty, see you again!"

Roxana Nelson blushed even more.

"Oh! Ha ha, that's great!" Hannah looked at Roxana Nelson, who now resembled a blooming spring flower, with both cheeks flushed like cherry blossoms.

"Can you see his face now?" Hannah teasingly asked, provoking her.

Roxana Nelson realized that the person approaching was Hannah and snapped, "What can I see? I can't even see my fingers. Give me my glasses back!"

"Sorry about that! Ha ha, no problem, I'll hold your hand!" Hannah grabbed Roxana Nelson's hand; her gaze couldn't help but glance back at the handsome guy.

This guy had a square face with sharp eyebrows, was very stylish, a true heartthrob, exuding a noble aura and a powerful presence that sent shivers down one's spine. Hannah searched her mind for many words but felt they weren't enough to describe him. The critical point was that he had a physique even more beautiful than the standard for models, with nothing to criticize. Hannah wouldn't have introduced this heartthrob to Roxana Nelson if it weren't for Joseph Brown.

The heartthrob sat sunbathing about ten paces away, seemingly casting a casual glance toward them. Hannah knew he was looking at Roxana Nelson. Her eyes swiveled around, and a clever idea came to her.

With few people around the pool, Hannah quietly led Roxana Nelson closer to the collection. She seized the opportunity to execute her newly-formed idea.

"Hannah, I can't see very well. Please don't bring me near the pool. I don't know how to swim!" Roxana Nelson reminded her.

Hannah mischievously chuckled, "Of course, of course."

Then, with a wicked intention, she moved behind Roxana Nelson and took advantage of her lack of preparation. She pushed her, and with a scream, Roxana Nelson's petite body flew into the pool, creating a large splash of foam.

"Help! Help! My friend doesn't know how to swim! Someone help!" Hannah pretended to be worried and shouted.

Upon hearing this, the heartthrob wasted no time and immediately jumped into the pool.

Roxana Nelson struggled. This area of the pool was deep, intentionally brought here by Hannah. She couldn't understand why Hannah wanted to harm her!

Roxana Nelson opened her mouth slightly, swallowing a large gulp of water. Her body sank further, and she estimated she had already swallowed three big mouthfuls of water. She felt a desperate need to breathe but couldn't. Her body continued to sink.

Oh my god! Someone, please save her!

Before her consciousness completely faded away, she suddenly felt a small struggling hand grasped firmly by a solid and large hand. She gently exhaled and then took another gulp of water.

This person exerted force to lift her head above the water. Due to just having swallowed water, Roxana Nelson's mind was still heavy and dizzy. Her nasal cavity and lungs were stinging and uncomfortable, and she still lacked oxygen.

Being rescued, Hannah stuck out her tongue sneakily, but her actions didn't escape the keen gaze of the heartthrob. He held Roxana Nelson and brought her closer to the edge for the staff to pull her out.

Hannah approached, pretending to be concerned, and asked, "Is Roxana okay? Don't scare me!"

In a dazed state, Roxana Nelson faintly heard Hannah's voice but couldn't respond as her throat burned in pain. It was too painful to speak!

After almost drowning, all she wanted to do now was sleep!

"Hey, you, save her quickly! Did she drown?" Hannah pretended to be frightened and worried.

The heartthrob squinted, glanced at her, then looked down at the lying Roxana Nelson. "Step back; she's lacking oxygen. We need to perform CPR!"

Indeed, Hannah knew in advance that this interesting prank was based on her spontaneous idea. In such a short time, Roxana Nelson would have no way out! She didn't anticipate encountering a heartthrob here.

Ha ha, Roxana Nelson, keep laughing silently! Hannah felt exhilarated and pleased inside, barely avoiding being noticed by the heartthrob. Immediately, she feigned a worried expression again.

Look at the heartthrob pressing his lips onto Roxana Nelson's tiny mouth; no, he was performing urgent emergency CPR.

Unfortunately! This was Roxana Nelson's first kiss! Deep in her heart, Hannah prayed that Roxana wouldn't grab a knife and chase after her when she woke up. She pushes Roxana into the water to bring the heartthrob and Roxana closer together, creating an opportunity for the hero to save the beauty. To put it bluntly, she was making an opportunity for them.

The heartthrob blew a few breaths into Roxana Nelson's tiny mouth, gradually bringing her back to consciousness. She wasn't drowning, just extremely frightened.

Feeling that the opportunity had arrived, Hannah felt relieved and saw Tôn, the manager, approaching, so she quickly gave him some instructions and returned to the changing room.

Roxana Nelson regained consciousness and called out, "Hannah?"

She sat up, instinctively calling Hannah's name but found no one around!

The sharp-eyed guy scanned the area and noticed Hannah's discreet disappearance.

Tôn, the manager, rushed over and exclaimed, "Miss Nelson, there's an urgent matter for the young miss. The old master called her."

Roxana Nelson felt deeply saddened in her heart, her tears welling up. Hannah! That girl was probably drugged. How dare she push her into the pool, knowing she couldn't swim. If she wanted to kill someone, she should at least let them write a will.

Seeing Roxana Nelson's tears, the heartthrob suddenly felt tense. He coldly looked at Tôn, the manager, and said, "I will take her back. You don't need to take her to the hospital."

"?" Roxana Nelson widened her eyes, trying to remember where she had heard this familiar voice.

"I'm the one who saved your life. Didn't you see me?" He smiled gently and repeated his words.

"How do you know my name?" Roxana Nelson couldn't help but ask, forgetting about her pain, her throat hurting as she spoke.

Ah! He chuckled softly. "I'm your lifesaver. I rescued you from the pool. Can't you see me?"

After saying that, he sat down, his handsome face just ten centimeters away from Roxana Nelson. Suddenly, his beautiful face approached, making Roxana Nelson's heart pound wildly. She had never been so close to a lovely guy, even more attractive than any actor, causing her face to blush instantly.

"Who... who... who are you?" She stammered, her throat hurting, wrinkling her little face.

"I'm your lifesaver. I saved you from the pool," the heartthrob replied, seeing her distressed expression. "I will take you home. Tomorrow, your voice will return to normal."

"Thank you, but please help me find Hannah!" Roxana Nelson didn't want to inconvenience him; he was still a stranger.

The heartthrob glanced at the changing room door again, his cold gaze flickering. He had never rejected any girl who offered herself to him before. Roxana Nelson appeared at the right time in front of him, and he had to bring her back to enjoy a delightful encounter not to disappoint the other girls' goodwill.
