Chapter 1: '"Handsome man'"

Sitting across from her was a stunningly attractive woman clad in high-end designer attire, her thin clothing accentuating her cool and refreshing appearance. Just a glance reveals the alluring curves of her graceful figure, making the two women sitting across from each other appear as a stark contrast, like a satirical painting.

Besides the revealing beauty was a handsome man with bright and gentle eyes, wearing a crisp white shirt and dusty blue pants, highlighting his beautiful and stylish look!

The handsome man and the beautiful woman sitting side by side resembled a pair of angels that evoked admiration. Glancing at the rustic girl sitting opposite, one couldn't help but shake their head in disbelief.

At this moment, the handsome man suddenly stood up and walked outside to answer a phone call. The busy girl now raised her head, lifting her chin to follow the lovely gentleman, then suddenly shook her head and sighed.

The beautiful girl frowned, "Roxana Nelson, do you want to die?"

So the girl's name was Roxana Nelson.

"Ouch! Hannah, you don't understand! Just look at you and Joseph Brown sitting so sweetly together; I don't even want to talk about romance!" Roxana Nelson removed her oversized black glasses.

Her glasses were not just big; they were as big as two bottle caps, covering half of her beautiful face.

Immediately after, a sigh escaped.

Even the beautiful Hannah couldn't stand Roxana Nelson's constant sighs. Since the meal began, she had been sighing incessantly, making it impossible to enjoy the food even a little.

"Speak up! What exactly do you think an ideal man should look like?" Hannah spoke concisely, but it was enough to make Roxana Nelson blush.

"What? I want to find a handsome man to love. I'm only twenty years old, and as soon as I hear the word 'man,' I get goosebumps. It sounds much better to call them 'handsome men.'"

Hannah looked down at her, "So, how do you define a 'handsome man'? What's the difference? Men and handsome men are the same thing. A handsome man is still a man!"

Roxana Nelson stared at the ceiling of the elegant restaurant, her eyes starting to sparkle, and she excitedly said, "He should be more handsome than Joseph and have more money too!"

"Oh, please! Can you stop calling Joseph Brown by that nickname?" Hannah found it annoying that Roxana Nelson would refer to her boyfriend in such a way.

Roxana Nelson stuck out her tongue and tried to smooth things over, saying, "I'm sorry, I slipped my tongue..."

Hannah nodded in satisfaction, "Okay! Just remember to respect the person who gave you one hundred-thousand-dollar voucher for the orphanage."

Thinking about Joseph Brown's one hundred-thousand-dollar vouchers, Roxana Nelson still dared to use such a nickname. His stature was tall, and he had the last name Brown, but that was not his fault.

"Can I call him Joseph later?"

"Sure!" Hannah glanced at Roxana Nelson's outdated attire, helplessly shaking her head, "Can you throw away those oversized glasses and ask me for help?"

"Huh?" Roxana Nelson was surprised and chuckled, "They're not broken, so throwing them away is a waste!"

Faint! Hannah didn't understand how she ended up with a friend with such a poor fashion sense as Roxana Nelson.

"You'll never attract a handsome man if you wear those hideous glasses. I'm telling you, your dressing style is tough to look at. You have a pretty face and can even be considered beautiful, but those dark glasses make you lose all your beauty. You look like an old lady."

Roxana Nelson looked dejected, her shoulders slumping in an unfortunate manner. "So, what do I do now? I'm inferior, with no money and no parents. And you, you were born into a wealthy family, you don't even know my struggles!"

"That has nothing to do with dressing nicely. The key is to wear clothes that enhance your beauty and get rid of these cheap glasses. Tell me, what's the difference between your glasses and the old lady's reading glasses?"

Roxana Nelson frowned even more. "Is it that hard to look at?"

She looked pitifully at Hannah, who didn't stop there and continued to provoke her. "We've known each other for a long time, so I'll take charge of finding a handsome man for you. I know where the handsome men are, and they will be interested, but the condition is that you have to listen to me."

Hearing the words "handsome man," Roxana Nelson's face immediately lit up. "I promise to listen to you. Lead the way! The best would be a wealthy, handsome man."

"Look at your appearance! How can you be short of money at the orphanage?" Hannah knew very well that when the orphanage was short of funds, Roxana Nelson would intend to find a wealthy, handsome man as a boyfriend.

Roxana Nelson nodded. "Yes! The director said we just received a few more disabled children who need treatment. More than half of the money Joseph gave has already been used for surgery for one child."

"Ouch!" Hannah sighed sympathetically.

After speaking, she took out a luxurious wallet, a pen, and a check and handed them to Roxana Nelson. "Take this temporary five hundred million to use."

"That's not right! I also received a lot of money from you. I feel so embarrassed!" Roxana Nelson felt quite awkward reaching out to Hannah.

Hannah waved her hand, smiling. "Why are you being so polite with me? Didn't you want to raise money for the orphanage? Just consider it a contribution."

Roxana Nelson blushed and took the check from her. "You understand me!"

Hannah laughed. "Alright, let's eat quickly. Afterward, I'll take you to witness the kindness of the wealthy."
