Chapter 8

　　“It’s okay, I will take you to the hospital, I will never let your face become scarred.”

　　When Sienna Qin was thrown by her husband on the floor, she tried to protect her stomach, but because she dropped on the floor so hard that shook her lower abdomen, causing a tingling pain.

　　It felt as if something was coming out of her body, and her face was getting pale.

　　“Help me, save the baby…”

　　It hurt so much, giving her cold sweats as her teeth trembled and can’t even say a complete sentence.

　　As soon as she looked up, she saw him wrapping Yasmin Wen in a blanket. He was gently embracing her.

　　And hearing him scream angrily, “Sienna Qin, you really are a vicious woman! If her face ends up getting scarred, I will personally tear your face!

　　Those were the last words she heard him say before he walked out.

　　He didn’t give her a chance to say another word. He left the room nervously holding Yasmin Wen.

　　\"My baby...\"

　　Sienna Qin weakly pleaded, but Sigfried Qiao didn’t seem to hear her. He didn\'t look back.

　　Ziggy, I’m having your child, please help the baby, please…

　　Save the baby…save the baby…

　　She kept trying to voice out those words, but her mind-numbing pain made her almost breathless.

　　All she could do was watch her husband leave with the other woman in his arms, leaving her to fend for herself and the baby.

　　Why? Why is this happening?

　　Why did he treat her this way?

　　She had returned home hopeful that he would be glad to hear the good news but instead she had caught him having sex with another woman.

　　What hurt the most was he defended the other woman and pushed her down…

　　Oh, her baby.

　　It seemed to be angry at having a ruthless father like him and a useless mother like her, which is why it was now slowly dripping out of her body.

　　Little one… please don’t leave mommy…please hold on…

　　Sienna Qin could not bear losing the baby, with the last bit of effort she reached for the phone and called her best friend, Sharmaine Su.

　　“Save my baby…”

　　As soon as she uttered those words, she tilted her head and fainted completely.

　　Half-conscious, she felt like she was lying on something and was being pushed at a speed.

　　She could hear someone whispering in her ears anxiously but it wasn’t audible.

　　Her eyes narrowed and noticed a familiar face. It was Sharmaine Su’s cousin, Lawrence He, her attending physician.

　　Though she felt so weak, there was nothing in her mind but the baby inside her.

　　“Save…save the baby…please, save my baby!” She pleaded as she grabbed the doctor’s sleeves.

　　She cried like a lonely and helpless child.

　　Her weak and exhausted body gave in, her eyes closed, her arms dropped and fainted again.

　　“Still thinking about the bastard Sigfried Qiao’s child. Please, cousin, save her for me, I don’t care how, but just save her.” Sharmaine asked Lawrence. Seeing her friend in on the verge of death, she felt distressed. “Sienna, you must hold on, you must hold on!”

　　Sienna Qin was pushed into the operating room, and the light turned on the moment the door was closed.

　　Sharmaine stayed outside the operating room and waited anxiously.
