Lucien's POV

"Do you think letting Jenn take the herb is a good idea? What if it weakens her wolf?" Claire asked. That was something I was worried about too. I didn't want to give Jennifer anything that might weaken her. I trusted Angela. She was our strongest Witch and had always been loyal to us. She was mated to one of my Pack Trackers, Jason; they had been together since I was a pup. Their son was my number one Pack Tracker and one of my good friends.

"Are you sure there are no side effects to the herb?" I asked

"Yes, I am certain it will not harm her or her wolf. I wouldn't give it to our Queen if I weren't. Unless the two of you complete the Mating process, this is the only way to shorten her heat," Angela said

"I want to take the herb," Jennifer said. She was still lying on me, and I rubbed her back to comfort her.
