CHAPTER 93

The rusty smell of the dungeon churned my stomach. The single guard at the entrance granted us entry after the other guards whispered something into his ear that I couldn't quite catch.

"I'm looking for the newest prisoner," I said to him while trying so hard not to throw up. The stench from the dungeon was just too much. The guards exchanged looks at my request but nodded anyway. He led me further into the dungeon and the smell only got worse. We stopped at a locked door and the guard pulled it open. There was a little room between the door and the cells. Cautiously, I drew closer and took in the sight of a disheveled Colton. He had knives sticking into various parts of his body. There was a strong smell of blood and other fluids I was too disgusted to mention. His head lifted slowly and our eyes met.

"W-what are you doing here?" He drawled in a disoriented voice.

"I wanted to see you" I looked behind me and those guards were gone.
