Yi Jun, Empress General

I stare at the feminine looking and fashionably dressed man in front of me, who introduced himself as a novelist named Yi Jun, who in response stared intensely on my body. His eyes gazing back and forth between me and LanLan.

He looks to be in his late thirties with pale white skin wearing an expensive looking  white shirt with long sleeve paired with a high waisted black loose jeans and six inch high black heels, making his already tall figure taller.

Tall, attractive and straight forward is the best way to describe him.

And a little pervert the way he stare at me and LanLan. But his gaze didn't contain malice and lust like any other men. So it's fine, we won't come with him if he has an ulterior motive.

If he didn't tell me he's a novelist, I consider him as a fashion model.

I label him as a man because there are some men who wears heels and act feminine but they consider their selves a man. And there are also women who cut their hair short like a man, wears clothes for men and act in a boyish manner but they consider their selves a woman.

So I called him a 'He' for the meantime because I still didn't know him.

When LanLan and I enter the company, we met him. He invited us in this small coffee shop near the MS Entertainment. We planned to reject him because we have an audition but when we saw his sincerity, we came with him. In a condition that we only talk with him for a short time because of the audition.

"What is your purpose in inviting us here Mr. Yi?"

LanLan started the conversation, as she always does. If the enthusiastic students in school approach us, LanLan is always the one who will mostly talk with them and I will just stand beside her. 

She knows my personality too well that I am not good in communicating to people whom I never close to. While she is an expert in that aspect.

I already have a hunch as to why she invited us here, and I know LanLan too.

"I want to talk to you about this."

He handed us a thin folder she got from his bag.

'Empress General'

I read the two words neatly written on the very front of the file in my mind.

Then I opened the folder and strings of words welcome my sight.

I read it for some minutes before drawing a conclusion.

'It seems to be a summary of a story.'

Well, it's understandable since he is a novelist as he said.

I closed the folder before directed my sight again at Mr Yi that is still looking at me and LanLan with excited gaze.

"How was it?!" 

He excitedly ask after seeing that we already finished reading the file that he gave us.

I looked at LanLan, noticing my gaze, she flashed a smile before answering the excited woman's question.

"It was... Beautiful."

Indeed. The story, although just a short glimpse of it, you can see that it is great.

"Thank you!" His face showed his happiness as he heard LanLan's compliment.

"Empress General is my third novel that will be adapted to a drama and it was also the first novel that I wrote in my younger days. You may not know me but I got quite a reputation in the Film Industry as my other two novel that was made into a drama became successful. You can search my name and you'll know that I am not bragging. Hehe."

I searched his name and was surprised.

True to his words, his two works was just not a success, it was a massive success! The first titled 'Tears Of The Water Spirit' became one of the other few cable dramas that beaten a public drama on the same timeslots in the film history. It even became successful in Asian countries such as Korea, China, Japan, Thailand, Taiwan, India, Philippines and other Asian countries. It also entered the U.S and Europe market, spreading the Arinean culture. Awarded by the Drama Royale the 'Drama Of The Decade.'  The drama grabbed many awards, veteran actors and actresses became even more respected while rookies and famous young actors shot to fame and enter the public eyes.

The second one titled 'Angel's Cry' was made into a movie that made history in Film Industry in all of the Asian countries. It grossed over $1.8 billion dollars globally, entering the top ten highest box office  movies of all time in Film History. The second Asian movie that surpassed movies in Hollywood.

'Wow!'

I don't know much about the Film Industry, all my little knowledge only came from my mother but this informations proved how great his novel is.

I stayed silent the whole time and LanLan too.  Only after a moment before LanLan speak again.

"You are... Amazing!" LanLan can't help but praise her again.

"So... Do you want to act in Empress General?"

He ask straight forwardly with his always hyper tone voice and expression.

LanLan became silent, while me, as usual just sat beside Lanalan without speaking. He seems to interpret our silence as hesitation as he grabbed other file in his bag. 

He handed it to me so I accepted it, not knowing what's in the file.

Flipping the papers and I was shocked and thrilled upon seeing the names with pictures inside the folder.

There are a lot of beautiful faces in the papers but only two caught my eyes.

"LanLan! Look!"

I can't help myself and grabbed LanLan to look at the file. After seeing the two people, she too, became surprised. 

We stared at each other and our gaze landed on Mr Yi.

Then said our answer to his question in unison.

"We want to act in this."

He was stunned by our quick  answer and then his usual expression came back. Grinning from ear to ear and eyes shone brightly, like jewels, overall, hyper.

The reason why we agreed is because two of the casts in the drama is one of the fifteen targets in our mission!
