Chapter 16: Betrayed
He knew he was scaring them all - the Night Children and those stranded humans. It was several nights ago since the howling destroyed the peace of the forest. He could control himself but after that specific betrayal, his urges tempted him so madly. He had to roam or else he had to hunt. The latter was highly not on season yet.
He gathered all the Night Children. It would be the Hunt on the coming three days but he made a special call to those who were not yet damned.
