Chapter 108 – The Luna’s Choice (Selene’s POV)

The palace was quiet, almost too quiet. After the chaos of my rescue and the ride home with Ronan, the walls around me felt both comforting and suffocating. My heart still raced from the adrenaline of being free, yet a weight settled over my chest—the knowledge of everything I had endured and the life I carried within me.

I paced slowly through the sitting room, my hands resting on my belly, feeling the tiny movements that reminded me of what—and who—I was fighting for. The thought of Ronan and the distance between us made my chest ache, but another thought pulled me forward, one I had been considering since the moment I had stepped into this home.

I needed to talk to Mirella.
