Chapter 5
Danika "Wake up." "Wake up, child." A soft voice surrounded me all of a sudden. I opened my eyes. Light streaking through the slit as I tried to focus. Suddenly, I woke up in the forest. I looked down but I am still naked from last night. The bruises disappeared, the pain gone as if it never even happened. "Where am I?" I squinted when I saw a white wolf peeking in the woods. I stood, not taking my eyes off the wolf when it moved. "Don't be afraid, little one." the wolf spoke in the same, soft voice that awakened me. "Who are you?" For some reason, though, I didn't feel afraid. "Why am I here?" The wolf with white, silky fur stalked towards me. "That is exactly my question to you," she replied. But my brows knit at her answer. "What do you mean?" my brows knit. She halted in her paws and sat on ground in front of me. The wolf was huge, and when it sat it looked even taller than when it was in all fours. "Why are you, still, here?" she asked the same question. Her voice reverberated through the air. Something about her presence, her form, the way her fur glowed under the glistening moon, told me what I needed to know. "Moon goddess?" The wolf smiled, leaving me stunned. "Why... How?" I looked around and saw no sign of the pack house anywhere. It only meant one thing. I am in a dream and the moon goddess is in it. "Your prayers will not go unanswered, little one," I sobbed, letting go of all emotion as I crashed my body against her fur. Her scent soothed me like no mate bond possibly could. Her scent was one embedded in all of us at the moment of our birth, for it is her we came from and her we will return. I just wanted to stay in this dream and never wake up, knowing I would only face hell afterwards, I would rather not return. I choked in my sobs as I drowned in my own grief, only now knowing how desperate I was for some sense of warmth, peace, and comfort. I was dying to feel the same after my parents died, and one day I hoped that my mate would give that to me. But I was wrong. I buried my face in her soft, silky fur and sobbed nonstop when I felt a small hand caress my hair. I gasped and pulled back to see the face of our moon goddess herself. She is just as beautiful as they described in the books, maybe even more because I have never met anyone so stunning in my life. She smiled, but there was a hint of pain in her smile. "Moon goddess?" I wiped my own tears and held her hands that cupped my face. "I am sorry, little one, for the mate that disgraced you, the pack that turned its back on you, but I am here and I will help you." I blinked back tears as pain crashed into me. The memories flooding back into me as I experienced them all anew. "I will help you change your fate. You must," she said almost in a whisper, like a secret that must be kept only between us. "How?" my lips trembled, I gripped her hand. "You must leave the pack, but only temporarily and seek refuge in the Lycan King's side," My brows shot up to my eyebrows and my eyes widened at her. "The Lycan King?" She nodded her head and her eyes glistened with tears, but not of fear. Hope. "The Lycan King will take you in. You have to trust him," She said like the words she spoke did not just sent a shock waves across my skin. The Lycan King is known for his cruel ways in punishing those who disobey. Some tortured, some even impaled and their headless bodies left for display in the gates of the kingdom he ruled with an iron fist. I can't leave the pack to enter those gates that scream death itself! "I can't!" I refused as tears rolled down my cheeks. She cupped my face tighter and whispered in her soft voice, "This is your chance to change your fate. Tomorrow, you will see. Take the opportunity, and once you have, I will come to you," She pressed her forehead against mine, but as soon as her words set in, the world vanished. Darkness crept in before I forced myself to wake up to my original world. My eyes widened as I sucked in deep breaths, hauling my battered and bruised body off the cold floor. The pain came back with a vengeance and it made my body throb. Just as I suspected, I was back in my room. It was all a dream. "Moon goddess?" I called in a whispery voice but nothing. With a heavy sigh, I got up and dragged my weak body in the shower. I hissed as the cold water hit my spine. I looked down and saw that the blood had turned the water pink. I sighed and tried to let the cold water soothe my skin. A few minutes later, I heard a crash right outside the bathroom. "Where is she? Where is that f*cking b*tch?" a venomous voice bounced in the tiles of the bathroom. My breath hitched. Linda.Chapter 6Danika"Come out, now!" I sighed and quickly finished up in the shower. I know why she's here. Yesterday, the Alpha announced me as his personal slave - his sex slave to be exact. I wrapped a towel around my bruised body and stepped out. My hair dripping wet and I shivered from the cold air that swept through my skin. "There you are, slut!" I turned and he next moment, a resounding slap landed on my cheek."Just because Hunter chose you to be his sex slave doesnt mean you can f*ck your way into becoming luna. You will never be luna, you're nothing but a pathetic little wh*re who lives to serve the Alpha as his personal c*m bucket," she snarled, venom dripping from her voice. I held my right cheek. Her slap was hard and it sent a searing pain through my skin. Suddenly, a boiling rage surged through my veins. I have had enough of her tormenting me for actions I did not take, things I wouldn't even wish to have such as becoming Hunter's luna. "What, cat got your tongue?"

Chapter 4 TRIGGER WARNING: This chapter contains scenes of abuse. Read at your own discretion. Danika My suitcase dropped to the floor. My eyes stared wide-open at the Alpha. Apparently, my mate. My heart is doing somersaults in my chest at the revelation. My wolves' shock crashed through me, colliding with my own as I openly stared right at him. His gaze flicked down to the suitcase that had slipped from my hand. His brows furrowed, angrily I might add. "What is the meaning of this?" His tone is demanding. I gulped and couldn't stop my voice from trembling. "M-My... My suitcase, Alpha." I stuttered, bending over before I picked it up. I gripped it in my trembling hand. When I stood upright I jumped as he is suddenly standing inches away from me. "I could see that. But I'm asking you why you are carrying that suitcase?" he asked, looking skeptical. I swallowed. "I-I just turned 18, and I just thought..." He raised a brow at me. I continued anyway. "That you we
DanikaA smile played on my lips as I did every single one of my chores. They were all staring at me, even throwing side comments about how I have finally gone crazy after all these years but I couldn't help it. 'Why are you so happy?' Annika came foreward. I could feel her curiosity but also something else.My smile widened, scrubbing the last pot of the day. Apparently, this is the last pot I'll be cleaning so I'm happy to do it.'Danika?' 'Sorry, I was just thinking of where we can go after this.' I giggled inwardly.'Why? Where are we going?' Kanya, my easy-going wolf, stepped in joining the conversation. She is always cheerful and carefree, even at times like these. She is a lot different from her twin. Today, I might just have reason to share her optimism.'Far away from here, Kanya. The Alpha is finally going to set us free!' I exclaimed, only in my thoughts.'What makes you say that?' Annika asked, skeptical.I smile, 'Don't you realize? We are turning 18 this very midnight!
Chapter 2HunterI watch her big, blue and green eyes widen as she stares up at me in horror.'Stop it! You are hurting her! You are hurting our mate!' Cyrus, my useless piece of trash for a wolf, bellowed. I rolled my eyes at his antics.'So dramatic.'It's getting old, really. He wouldn't stop whining when I forced him to kill her parents off the minute I became Alpha. He never talked to me ever since. Until he found out our mate is the daughter of those useless betas who failed to protect our mother and father. The ones I thoroughly enjoyed watching as the light ultimately left their eyes. I glared coldly at the scared little wolf trembling in my grasp. She has no idea of the hell I am about to unleash, especially when she realized I am her mate.I had known ever since I turned 18, and she was only 12. That did not stop me from killing her parents and stripping her off her title before making her a slave, lower than the low. No one objected, as no one should. She is useless after
Chapter 1 Danika's POV: "Listen to me, Danika. You can never tell anyone about your wolves, do you understand?" I nodded my head. "Yes, mama." "No one must know." she whispered. "When do I get to shift?" I asked. "When the time is right, my love. You will know..." "Remember, we are always with you." my father whispered and kissed my head. That was the last day I ever saw them. That day, I felt warm, loved, and most of all, I had a home. Until they were gone, and I was all alone. BACK TO PRESENT--- "Get up, you wolfless bitch!" I felt a kick to my stomach and groaned. Here we go again. Another day, another she-wolf spits at my face to feed their damn pride. "I expect breakfast to be ready in ten minutes. You hear me?" she snarled. "Yes," I simply said and set out to work but she yanked my hair back, making me scream as instant pain shot from my scalp. "What did I tell you about answering me RESPECTFULLY, little b*tch?" she tugged my hair harder. I gritted my te
