A good night's sleep and my wolf’s healing abilities had taken all of the exhaustion from yesterday. But just thinking of having to sit through two hours of court meetings this morning had me feeling like dark clouds were hanging in the sky.

“The king pampers you too much,” Laura grumbled as she pulled the last rope of my corset together.
