Harper couldn’t believe it. She removed his hand on her belly and shook her head rapidly.

“We only did it once. Once!”

“I know… but it was 2 days before the full moon. You know what they say about wolf fertility when the moon’s almost full.”

Damon already knew this, right when he woke up the next morning. It was the reason why he was worried of her and the hunt. He was thinking of the heirs he had imbedded on her belly. They should be protected at all cost.

Harper crashed on a seat, looking down on the floor, mouth agape. She couldn’t believe how stupid she was. Yes, of course, she knew what the elders say about full moon and women fertility and she lost track of it. She had no reason to justify what she did that night. And now, it seems like the consequences were dire.

“I don’t know what to do.” – Harper murmured. That was true. To bear a cub is a terrifying idea to her.
