She thought she didn't have to see this collar again but she was wrong. Adrian stepped closer before he put the collar on her neck and she had to curl her fingers into fists to stop herself from pushing the collar off her.

She quietly walked behind him as he went into the same wing where her room is. Her heartbeat quickened when they passed by her room and then took another small set of stairs before coming to a halt in front of a huge mahogany door.

The door itself exuded darkness. Sweat broke through on her forehead and she breathed in deeply to calm her erratic pulse down but it wasn't in her control. She hasn't felt this anxious since the time she was betrayed.
