Chapter 3

Author: Crystal K
The second the door clicked shut, I grabbed my phone.

I needed to see their next move.

I opened the pack app. My instincts were right.

Monica posted a new thread. She announced the party was happening on the penthouse terrace tomorrow night. Everyone could get the Moon Goddess’s blessing at the highest point in the city.

She shamelessly claimed it was a "gift" to the pack from her and her damn Gamma mate.

Dozens of comments flooded in.

"Wow, Monica, you're the best!"

"Gamma Julian is such a great leader!"

"I always wanted to see that terrace! Finally!"

"Wait, how did you get the rogue up there to agree? Didn't she say no?"

My fingers tightened when I saw Monica’s reply.

"Some wolves just have no pack spirit. They think they're better than us. But in the face of real power, they have no choice but to submit."

Even now, I was trying to be civilized. Trying to use the rules.

"That is private property. This is trespassing," I replied directly under her post.

Under ten seconds later, Monica sent me a toxic voice note.

Her voice was sharp and hateful. "Private property? Stop acting, Vesper! You think I don't know? How could a defective, scentless Omega like you afford a penthouse?"

"I bet you're just some rich Alpha's whore! A piece of trash like you dares to fight us?"

"Let me tell you, one word from Julian, and you won't even leave this pack alive!"

I gripped my phone, anger burning in my chest.

This was hilarious.

My father was the Lycan King, and this low-born bitch was trying to slut-shame me?

The forum blew up.

"Oh Goddess, is that true?"

"I knew it. How else could a young rogue afford that?"

"These sugar-baby Omegas are getting too arrogant."

"No wonder she's so stuck up. Her blood is dirty."

"Monica is right! Kick her out!"

I calmly screenshotted every single comment for evidence.

I made a promise to myself. I left the Royal Court for a reason. I would handle this the civilized way. With lawyers and lawsuits. Not with fangs and blood.

"Monica, this is defamation and conspiracy to trespass. I have screenshotted everything. My legal team will contact you," I typed.

Monica shot back, even more arrogant. "Trespass? Hahaha! Go ahead! Sue me! Let's see if you can find a single judge in this zone who dares to take your case!"

"You bottom-feeders will never understand Julian’s connections!"

Gideon jumped in too. "Miss Vesper, watch your tone. We are acting on Council orders. Everything is legal. If you keep disrupting pack harmony, we will ban your account."

The neighbors piled on.

"Yeah! Vesper is so ungrateful!"

"Monica and Julian do so much for us, why can't you just cooperate?"

"A shady woman playing the victim?"

The fury inside me roared like wildfire. My sanity was hanging by a thread.

I turned off my phone, leaned back on the couch, and closed my eyes.

My million-dollar territory, stolen. My property deed, called a fake. My reputation, dragged through the mud.

Fine. Reason didn't work.

I stood up, took photos of my property deeds, encrypted them, and emailed them to my exclusive Royal legal team.

The moment I hit send, my hyper-sensitive nose caught a strange scent.

Then, the faint sound of glass breaking.

It came from the Moon Terrace upstairs.

Someone was in there? So late?

I dropped my phone.

The strange wolf scents were getting stronger.

More than one. At least three or four.

What were they doing in my wine room?

A bad feeling hit me.

I rushed to the stairs.

The smashing sounds grew louder, mixed with crude laughter and heavy footsteps.

When I pushed open the door to the terrace, the sight froze me to the core.

Three days later. Morning. I sat on my brand-new Moon Terrace, holding a custom coffee infused with calming herbs. The flat-screen on the wall was playing the news: Julian, the high-ranking Zone Council official, was being escorted to the Silver Mines for massive corruption and abuse of power. On the screen, Julian had lost all his swagger. Silver chains gleamed coldly on his wrists. His skin was yellowed, his eyes empty and desperate. "The eight-million-dollar corruption scandal has shocked the entire werewolf community..." the anchor reported calmly. I took a sip of coffee. I felt absolutely nothing. "Your Highness," Silas handed me a folder respectfully. "Everything is handled. Julian’s assets were fully liquidated for compensation, including his three houses and secret vaults.""What about Monica?""Stripped of her mark and thrown into the outer slums yesterday. Reports say she's currently fighting other rogues over half a piece of bloody raw meat," Silas said flatly. "She'

Gideon was dragged away like a dead dog. His despairing wails vanished into the stairwell. With that bootlicking manager gone, I turned my eyes to Julian, still licking the bloody floor. "Enough."My voice stopped him instantly. He looked up like a terrified mutt. His lips and tongue were shredded by the glass, but a tiny spark of hope burned in his eyes. "Your Highness!" Julian slammed his forehead against the glass. "I will do anything to repent! I know the Zone Council’s secrets! I can be your informant!""I have money! Three properties, two luxury cars, and secret vaults in the alliance's underground network! I'll give it all to you!""You think the Lycan Court cares about the secrets of a few bugs?" I sneered, my voice heavy with crushing authority. "My territory doesn't need a rat that sells out its masters."Julian’s face drained of color. I delivered his sentence: "First, you will lose everything you own to pay for the vintage liquor you destroyed. My estimate is around f

Gideon, the manager, rushed out of the stairwell, panting into his walkie-talkie. "Why isn't the damn elevator working?!" he complained. "I'm gonna get someone to tear down that door right now!""That stubborn rogue is still resisting. I'm tearing her door down today! Screw private property. In the Neutral Zone, the Council rules the sky!"But the moment he stepped out of the stairwell, the aura hit him. He wanted to drop to his knees immediately. He stopped dead in his tracks. When he saw the scene, his legs gave out. He collapsed to the floor, a dark stain spreading on his pants. Blood and broken glass everywhere. Julian, licking the floor like a dog. The legendary Beta Caleb, standing by with murderous intent. And the woman in the center, radiating absolute dominance. He tried to speak, but only choked noises came out. Just then, the elevator doors opened again. A middle-aged man in a sharp suit walked out, sweating profusely. He completely ignored Julian on the floor, mar

I casually unleashed my full pureblood aura. The absolute bloodline suppression washed over them like a tsunami. Stimulated by the horrifying pressure, Caleb exploded with terrifying power. Before Julian’s filthy hand could touch him, Caleb spun and delivered a brutal backhand. The sound of a jaw shattering echoed through the hall. Julian flew through the air and smashed into the wall. Blood spewed from his mouth. Teeth scattered across the floor. Before he could even process what happened, Caleb pounced on him like a mad dog and stomped hard on his chest. "Black magic?! You blind fucking pig!" Caleb’s roar shook the walls. "Are you too stupid to recognize a true pureblood aura?!"He kicked Julian in the ribs. A loud crack echoed. "This is the King’s own flesh and blood! Princess Vesper, the one and only heir to the Lycan Throne!"With every word, he kicked Julian again. "Are you trying to get us all killed?!" Caleb crushed the man under his boot. "Are you trying to get the en

The sound of the elevator doors opening was loud in the dead-silent hallway. "Which blind piece of trash dared to touch my mate?!"Julian swaggered out of the elevator, screaming in his designer suit. He looked arrogant, his chin high, acting like the absolute king of the Neutral Zone. The moment he stepped out, he slammed into the terrifying aura of a pureblood Lycan. He froze. His fat body flinched. His low-tier genes screamed at him to drop to his knees. But then he remembered Monica's text. His pale, terrified face quickly twisted into a cocky sneer. He fought through the genetic terror, convincing himself it was just a witch's trick. "Still pumping out that disgusting dark magic scent?" Julian pointed at my face, spitting as he yelled. "You think some cheap illegal potion makes you a pureblood?""I’m telling you, the Zone Council will make you wish you were dead in prison!"I stood quietly amid the spilled wine and broken glass, watching this clown. Right then, Caleb stood

Monica stared at my phone like it was the funniest joke in the world. "Hahaha! She actually called someone!" She clutched her stomach. "Goddess, this bitch really thinks she can order Caleb around? The legendary Beta?"The guard laughed too. "Vesper, bad acting. Caleb is the right hand of the Royal Court! You think a fake phone call scares us?"Monica wiped a tear of laughter. "I actually pity you now. Making up such a ridiculous lie just to look tough."She pulled out her phone and smugly texted Julian. "Honey, bring the guys up. We have a crazy woman here who needs a trip to the psych ward."I calmly watched the countdown on my watch. Nineteen minutes. As the seconds ticked by, the heavy, suffocating pressure in the air grew thicker. The pureblood scent of a true apex predator started bleeding into the hallway. The tall guard's smile froze. His breathing turned shallow. Cold sweat broke out on his forehead. He instinctively took a half-step back, his knees turning to jelly. It
