SCARLET’S POV

I halted, and exhaled sharply. I suddenly had a feeling like someone was calling out to me, and that feeling made me lose the will to finish off Brad for good.

“You should count yourself lucky that I would let you off the hook. But after this, never try to come close to me, or I’ll be forced to kill you, no matter what!” I warned him, and left.

I walked back into the restaurant, acting like nothing had happened, and then picked up my bag, and walked out through the front door.

It was still shocking and surprising on how I was able to conquer Brad so easy, like it was an easy-peasy. I stared at my hands as I walked down the street to get a cab, and wondered how strong I could be as a Lycan.
