Chapter Forty Seven

ELIAS' POV.

I sat in the living room looking around as I had nothing to do, and my eyes fell on the flowers Scarlet had received. Who had sent them? Did that mean there was someone else who liked Scarlet? Was there someone looking to propose to her? Because the only reason a girl would receive flowers from an unknown person was when the person was trying to make himself known as a lover and for some reason, the thought did not sit well with me.

Shortly, Scarlet returned with a cup of hot, brimming coffee.

"Here." She said, handing the cup to me.

"Thanks." I replied and watched her sit next to me exhaling loudly. "Is anything bothering you?" I asked as I put the cup to my lips.

"Hey, hey, it's hot. Careful there." She said, extending out her hands like she wanted to grab the cup from me. I chuckled.

"Of course I do know it's hot and I'm being careful. I really would have preferred something warm though. It's scalding hot." I told her, finally managing to take a quick sip of the cof

I’m done that’s it .. I thought the Lycan was her mate which is serious for a Lycan .. this is weird very weird this whole book makes no sense and she is turning into a spineless untrustworthy liar
