Traitor within

Alistair stood there with his wide eyes staring down at Sera.

She was standing between him and the twins but her body was positioned in a way that resembled a threatened tiger.

It was a ‘come any closer and I’ll chop off your head’ posture. And Alistair couldn’t figure out what could possibly make her act that way. Was it the injury? Had she lost to ouch blood that she wasn’t thinking properly?

“Sera, are you feeling alright? You don’t look well. Should you even be standing? And how the hell did that Damn doctor allow you to leave like that? Where the hell is she?” Alistair’s voice got angrier with each question, it was clear that all his brain was programmed to do was worry about her… and Sera couldn’t blame him, she did look a little insane after all.
