CASPIAN’S POV

I was convinced that Selene thought that I hated her, but what was there t hate about such an adorable young lady.

She didn’t know it, but I loved the fact that she was bold whenever she needed to be, and it was almost impossible to intimidate her.

At that moment, she looked at me like I was the most cruel person in the world. Tears welled up in her eyes as she tried to find the right words to say to me.

“You can’t do that to her, Father? You are changing her life.” Dario spoke up for her, and it was hard to tell why he did that.

“This is not up for debate, son. Selene is now a Santoro, and the Santoros are known for a lot. She cannot be seen in a school like that.” I was profound with my utterance, but it didn’t look like Dario was done trying to question me.

“Does that mean that she can go to another school? I mean, she has to be done with her education.” He had a point, but it was too risky.
