Caspian POV

The study room was quiet while I was staring at the unfinished glass of whiskey that I left behind.

My mind wasn't thinking about work neither was I thinking about Josh though I should be because he has been acting strange recently.

I was thinking about her. The woman from last night. I should have gotten her name because something about her felt too familiar.

The way we danced, the scent of a skin and the softness of her hand they reminded me of someone. Even when I moved into kiss her I noticed a faint scar near her collarbone.

Those scars were two familiar for me not to have recognized them and it had made me lose my balance.

It's just can't be Selene. She was gone and out of our lives.

A sudden knock on the door pulled me away from my thought and I looked up to see Celeste enter the study room with the usual frown on her face.

"Caspian." She called, shutting the door behind her. "We need to talk."
